The implications are many and fascinating. The lining out of “Barack Hussein Obama” carries a significance beyond the obvious administration of simply removing a name from a passport.

And what does “Soebarkah” mean?

As you dig into the Indonesian language and Barack Hussein Obama’s convoluted past, you might draw the conclusion that it was some sort of connector to another husband of Stanley Ann Dunham, Lolo Soetero.

Though the roots appear to point you in that direction, it’s not as clear as it seems. “Kah” implies a question such as “who is this?” “Bar” is easy for most linguists as “son of”—

Unless you are a diligent student of the Bible and know that names are linguistically, spiritually and prophetically significant and that, more often than not, a literal interpretation is the most instructive.

As you know, in many languages, the object comes first and descriptors follow.

So why is there some implied question about Barack Hussein’s sonship?

Is Barack Obama the “promised warrior” coming to help the Hidden Imam of Shiite Muslims conquer the world?

The question has made the rounds in Iran since last month, when a pro-government Web site published a Hadith (or tradition) from a Shiite text of the 17th century. The tradition comes from Bahar al-Anvar (meaning Oceans of Light) by Mullah Majlisi, a magnum opus in 132 volumes and the basis of modern Shiite Islam.

According to the tradition, Imam Ali Ibn Abi-Talib (the prophet’s cousin and son-in-law) prophesied that at the End of Times and just before the return of the Mahdi, the Ultimate Saviour, a “tall black man will assume the reins of government in the West.” Commanding “the strongest army on earth,” the new ruler in the West will carry “a clear sign” from the third imam, whose name was Hussein Ibn Ali. The tradition concludes: “Shiites should have no doubt that he is with us.”

In a curious coincidence Obama’s first and second names–Barack Hussein–mean “the blessing of Hussein” in Arabic and Persian. His family name, Obama, written in the Persian alphabet, reads O Ba Ma, which means “he is with us,” the magic formula in Majlisi’s tradition.

There is a video currently on YouTube claiming that, if you play Barack Obama speaking his candidacy catchphrase “Yes we can!” in reverse, he says “Thank you satan!” I have posted it with the sense of wry humor in which I thought it was intended…until I used my own audio software “Audacity” to test the claim and found, that is exactly what it sounds like.
