J.R.R. Tolkien & C.S. Lewis: Jesuit Imagineering

I happened to be doing book research recently when I noticed a connection to C.S. Lewis and then found this deeply disturbing interview.

It’s from the “Coming Home Network” but we don’t see Catholic converts as “coming home”, we see them as being gathered by the Great Harlot of Babylon who boasts that she will never be a widow, bereft of children.¹

Isaiah 47:1-9

1. “Come down and sit in the dust,
O virgin daughter of Babylon;
Sit on the ground without a throne,
O daughter of the Chaldeans!
For you shall no more be called
Tender and delicate.
2. Take the millstones and grind meal.
Remove your veil,
Take off the skirt,
Uncover the thigh,
Pass through the rivers.
3. Your nakedness shall be uncovered,
Yes, your shame will be seen;
I will take vengeance,
And I will not arbitrate with a man.”
4. As for our Redeemer, the Lord of Hosts is His Name,
The Holy One of Israel.
5. “Sit in silence, and go into darkness,
O daughter of the Chaldeans;
For you shall no longer be called
The Lady of Kingdoms.
6. I was angry with My People;
I have profaned My Inheritance,
And given them into your hand.
You showed them no mercy;
On the elderly you laid your yoke very heavily.
7. And you said, ‘I shall be a lady forever,’
So that you did not take these things to heart,
Nor remember the latter end of them.”
8. “Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures,
Who dwell securely,
Who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me;
I shall not sit as a widow,
Nor shall I know the loss of children’;
9. But these two things shall come to you
In a moment, in one day:
The loss of children, and widowhood.
They shall come upon you in their fullness
Because of the multitude of your sorceries,
For the great abundance of your enchantments.”

When I read “sorceries” and “enchantments”, I think of the secret system of control Rome has that so perfectly fits the title “Mystery Babylon”, in which every conceivable enterprise must first meet with her corrupt approval from making war to making movies.

Isaiah 47 is brilliantly echoed in Revelation 18 with the added warning to any Catholic who truly seeks the Salvation of Jesus Christ, “come out of her My people lest you share in her plagues!”

Revelation 18:1-8

1. After these things I saw another angel coming down from Heaven, having great authority, and the Earth was illuminated with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the Earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the Earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

4 And I heard another voice from Heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

5 For her sins have reached to Heaven, and God has remembered her wickedness.

6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.

7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’

8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine.  And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her!”

Truly, no-one will succeed today or has succeeded in the past without the “Mark”.

To me, the Mark on the right hand and the forehead of Revelation 13:16-17 is not what my Seventh Day Adventist friends believe—worship on Sun-day—but simply to think (forehead) and assertively act (use of our favored right hand) in a way that pleases Rome and her Master, Satan.

Harris slept her way into becoming District Attorney of San Francisco by availing herself to Mayor Willie Brown for an adulterous affair.  From there she became former Jesuit seminarian Jerry Brown’s District Attorney for the State of California.

And from there, Harris continued to please the Harlot who rides the Beast of American government^2,3 by giving cover to fellow corrupt officials whose job it is to protect the citizenry and who, instead, victimize us from their very positions of public trust.

Far worse, this led to enabling hundreds of Roman Catholic child-raping priests to violate our children with impunity.⁴

Was Kamala Harris merely sloppy when she failed to disclose a crime lab scandal and the criminal backgrounds of police who were trial witnesses?  Or does she have a policy of “When in doubt, keep secrets”?

SF Weekly’s attempts to obtain her office’s files on Catholic clergy abuse under the state Public Records Act suggest Harris favors concealment over transparency.

The records at issue may contain answers to a question of great public concern that has consumed international headlines during recent weeks: What did senior Catholic officials know, and what did they do behind the scenes, while priests accused of molesting children were shielded from punishment?

Cardinal William Levada was archbishop of San Francisco until 2005.  He is now a top Vatican official and the Holy See’s most prominent defender of Pope Benedict XVI against allegations that the pontiff has failed to adequately deal with pedophile priests.⁵  In San Francisco, Levada was known as a key architect of the church’s practice of keeping abuse allegations secret, protecting abusive priests, and punishing church whistleblowers. …

By sifting through documents made public as a result of lawsuits, Russell learned that during the 1990s and 2000s, Levada helped keep allegations against pedophile priests shrouded in secrecy.  Alleged abusers included Salesian Brother Salvatore Billante, who police alleged had sexual relations with at least 24 children, but charges were dropped after the California Supreme Court overturned a state law extending the statute of limitations for pedophiles.  And so the full contents of archdiocese clergy abuse files obtained by prosecutors were never revealed at trial.

Relatively unscathed by his San Francisco legacy, now-Cardinal Levada is the chief Vatican official charged with responding to global allegations of clergy abuse. …

District Attorney Kamala Harris possesses San Francisco Archdiocese files containing details of how the church dealt with pedophile priests that go back as far as 80 years.

But Harris, the frontrunner in the June primary elections to become the Democratic candidate for California attorney general, has for five years rebuffed reporters’ efforts to view those files, despite statements by former DA Terence Hallinan saying they should be released.

For the past six weeks, SF Weekly has asked Harris’ office to comply with the request under the California Public Records Act.  It has released nothing. ~ Matt Smith, San Francisco Weekly

The tone of the interview was intended to be jocular, but in light of all the terrible things Rome has done, particularly her secret control of all major governments and the heinous crimes they commit, I found it deeply disturbing.

Due to its brevity and import, I took the time to carefully transcribe it:

I know a lot of people whose first foray out of Protestantism was C.S. Lewis.  He was, in many ways, a “high Anglican”.  He believed in the “Real Presence”, he went to confession to a priest every week, he had a deep devotion to the Saints and the Blessed Virgin Mary.  He believed in Purgatory, and said so.

So his instincts were very Catholic.

Joseph Pierce [C.S. Lewis and the Catholic Church, (2013), Foreword by Fr. Dwight Longenecker] and Christopher Derrick [C.S. Lewis and the Church of Rome: A Study in Proto-Ecumenism, (1981), a long-time friend and former student of C. S. Lewis], wrote books on why Lewis never became a Catholic and both of them say basically the same thing: it was a miracle.

God stopped him, because [laughing] God wanted a spy—a Catholic spy—in Protestants [sic] and he has greased the slide for many a Catholic, myself included!

I remember at Calvin College, my roommate was losing his faith and he had a lot of problems with Calvinism—not so much theologically as personally—and he said, “Well, I read Mere Christianity and I got my faith back.  And then I discovered that dozens of other people do [sic] the same thing.  If that’s what Christianity is, I’m a Christian.  I don’t know whether I should be a Calvinist or something else but that’s what I am.”

So Lewis’ decision in Mere Christianity to focus on the “common essence” of Christianity—and not to deal with the controversial issues⁶—did more for Humanism than I think any other book ever written.⁷

Everything that’s not simply propositional—not simply Scottish (I think of John Knox)—not simply rational was Lewis.⁸  Romans, mysticism, poetry, sacramentalism, surprise, humor ⁹—it’s not that Protestants deny those things but that’s not their forte.  It was his.

You could of course be a good Protestant and still accept everything in [sic] C.S. Lewis because he doesn’t tell you to become a Catholic—he never was himself—but you’re being Catholicized [laughing] when you read Lewis.

He’d been told as a Northern Irish “Protestant” to avoid Papists and he saw that Tolkien was a Papist yet he couldn’t help being his closest friend.  And the story was that Tolkien badgered Lewis on “Why don’t you go all the way and swim the Tiber” and Lewis said “Stop asking me that question.  You couldn’t possibly understand, you were not born in Belfast.”¹⁰ [laughing]  In other words he knew his limitations, his prejudices.

Below are some notes for Johnny’s upcoming series on Roman Catholic serial killers and how they are carefully created and enabled by agents of the Vatican and aimed at innocent, unsuspecting citizens (much as thousands of pedophile priests are created, enabled and pointed towards your children).

* “Rafael Resendez-Ramirez”, born Ángel Leoncio Reyes Recendis was an illegal alien who popped back and forth for his rape and murder spree.
* After his near-30 year spree, United States Immigration and Naturalization Service thought it best to conduct a report.

> the supposition of proud Leftist Democrat McGowan was that the “Railroad killer”, radicalized in Roman Catholic Mexico by “Satanists”, utilized the railroad to baffle dutiful law enforcement back and forth from Mexico into border states.  The truth is far more upsetting.  According to the INS, Reyes-Recendis / “Resendez-Ramirez”,

* entered the U.S. and lived in Florida in 1973
* was “excluded” from San Antonio, Texas in 1976 (I guess that means he was asked to leave town for a reason undisclosed)
* arrested for trespass in Michigan on September 11^th, 1976, “returned to Mexico”
* he either wasn’t “returned” or came right back because a month later he was arrested by Border Patrol in McAllen, Texas and “voluntarily returned to Mexico”

According to the media, in 2018, Border Patrol agents under orders from Donald “Build That Wall” Trump were attacking their jobs so viciously they were separating screaming, crying children from their mothers, but in 1976 they took the word of a vagrant rapist and serial killer that he would return to Mexico on his own recognizance.

* one year later, he was arrested in Mississippi for destroying private property.  He was convicted and asked to return to Mexico on his own (the victim was obviously happy to handle the damages themselves).
* in June of 1979, the “Railroad killer” robbed and assaulted a home owner in Miami, Florida; obviously his railroad boxcars moved far and fast
* in July, he was arrested for burglary—in Kentucky!  He wasn’t charged, he was extradited to Miami.  A year later in 1980, he was convicted of burglary and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
* five years later he was paroled and “deported”
* from 1985 thru 1987, “Resendez-Ramirez” was caught with false documentation three times; he was finally turned over to INS in August of 1987 and “deported” in October
* three months later he was in New Orleans, Louisiana where he was arrested and charged with defrauding an innkeeper and unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon.  The charges were dismissed (because he clearly had no record and was an upstanding illegal alien).
* in November of that year he was arrested again for fraudulently applying for a Social Security Number in Saint Louis, Missouri.  He was sentenced to 30 months in prison and “deported” to Mexico in May of 1991.
* ten months later “Resendez-Ramirez” was arrested for burglary in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  In August of 1992, he was sentenced to three years in prison and released eight months later.  INS was unsure if there was any attempt to “deport” him.
* two months later, in June of 1993, “Resendez-Ramirez” was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle in Carson County, Texas.  He pled guilty and was sentenced to “time served” with no attempt to “deport” him (I guess the judges, cops and Federal agents were all tiring of the pretense).
* a year later he was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He was released on bond and skipped his court appearance.  A bench warrant was sworn on him and his information was entered into the FBI’s “National Crime Information Center”, finally, after his 10^th arrest—probably so that the FBI could help facilitate his inter-state travel.
* three months later, he was arrested for trespass in San Bernadino, California and the illegal alien found to have an illegal firearm on him (which really just means he had a firearm anywhere in California).  He was sentenced to three months in prison and “voluntarily returned to Mexico” one month later; note: he was not extradited to New Mexico to appear for his stolen vehicle charge.
* eleven months later (August of 1996) the illegal alien and serial rapist, murderer was “issued a warning” for trespassing in Macon, Georgia.
* two days later he was arrested for trespassing, again in a rail yard, in Kentucky, and sentenced to three days in prison where he caught up on his meals and sleep courtesy of the taxpayer
* on August 29^th, 1997, INS officially recognized his first murder; that of 21 year old college student Christopher Maier in Lexington, Kentucky.  How many rapes and murders he committed before Maier were off the books.  Left off the INS timeline was the fact that Maier was with his girlfriend at the time, Holly Dunn.  She was bludgeoned, stabbed and raped but somehow survived.
* five months later, in January of 1998, he was arrested by Border Patrol in Del Rio, Texas and asked to voluntarily return to Mexico
* two days later he was apprehended by Border Patrol in Uvalde, Texas and asked would he please go back to Mexico?
* apparently he thought that meant return to Del Rio because that’s where he was arrested by the same Border patrol the next day.  Neither his profile in the FBI’s criminal database nor his familiarity from three days before moved the Del Rio Border Patrol and they simply did the same, asked the serial killer would he please go back to Mexico?
* four months later “Resendez-Ramirez” was apprehended in Santa Teresa, New Mexico and asked would he please escort himself back across the border?
* four days later he was again arrested in Uvalde again and asked to return to Mexico
* the next day he was again arrested in Del Rio, and again asked to please go back to Mexico
* on October 1^st, 1998, INS recognized his murder of Leafie Mason in Hughes Springs, Texas.  The 87-year-old was living alone after her sister had passed.  Resendiz entered her house through a window, grabbed a nearby antique iron, and bludgeoned the old woman to death.
* the following month he was again arrested by Santa Teresa Border Patrol in New Mexico and asked to please return on his own across the wide-open southern border
* a month later, Resendez-Ramirez raped and murdered Claudia Benton in West University Place, Texas (INS only notes murders in their timeline)

Dr. Claudia Benton, a 39-year-old Baylor College of Medicine physician, was found sexually assaulted, stabbed and beaten to death inside her Houston-area home located near railroad tracks on Dec. 17, 1998.  Police found her Jeep Cherokee in San Antonio with Resendiz’ fingerprints on the steering column. ~ CBS News

* a warrant for this crime was added to his dusty profile in the FBI NCIC database.  INS assures us that local, State and Federal law enforcement were dutifully communicating with each other.  See citations from Michelle Malkin, below.

* on May 2^nd, 1999, Resendiz/Resendez brutally murdered Church of Christ Pastor Norman Sirnic and his wife Karen.  It is worth noting that Sirnic was a minority Protestant in Weimar, a Texas town that is three quarters Catholic.

Investigators later determined Resendiz raped Karen Sirnic after obliterating her face with a sledgehammer.  He then stole the couple’s pickup truck.  Some of their jewelry later would be found at Resendiz’s home in Rodeo, Mexico. ~ Fox News

* Fingerprints Resendiz left in the Sirnic vehicle linked him to the murder of Dr. Claudia Benton.
* on June 1^st, 1999, Resendiz/Resendez was again apprehended by the Santa Teresa Border Patrol who again, asked him to please go back to Mexico
* two days later he buried a pick axe into the forehead of 73-year-old Josephine Konvicka.

She lived alone in the house where she had lived all her life, about a mile from the railroad tracks and three and a half miles from the Sirnics, just over the line in Fayette County.  She usually watched TV until eleven or so and then went to bed.  Sometime in the wee hours of June 4, someone broke into her house through an unlocked rear window, bashed in her head with a grubbing hoe, ransacked the place (looking in vain for her car keys, said police), and left.  “She was the sweetest, dearest little old lady,” said one of her neighbors.  “She would not have hurt a fly.” ~ Texas Monthly

* this time Resendiz kept his weapon of opportunity and buried it in the forehead of a Houston school teacher later that same night.

Prosecutors on Friday first focused on the beating death of 26-year-old Houston schoolteacher Noemi Dominguez, whose covered body was found in her bedroom by her brother on June 5, 1999.

“I lifted this quilt my mother made for her, and a few articles of clothing,” said Alejandro Dominguez, now a 29-year-old Arizona State University law student.  “Honestly, I jumped back and I think I shrieked.”

Maturino Resendiz, 40, told a psychiatrist he killed Dominguez because of abortion rights literature in her home, though such pamphlets were never found and her brother testified she was a Roman Catholic who belonged to an anti-abortion group while attending Rice University.

Like all the crime scenes, Dominguez’s duplex unit was near a railroad line.  Maturino Resendiz’s primary way to travel was riding freight trains across his native Mexico and the United States. ~ The Los Angeles Times

Again, the media was giving cover for the monster and his government enablers: Resendiz was not bouncing back and forth from Mexico to Texas, he was traveling as far as Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri and elsewhere and may or may not have been using rail lines for it all.

Apparently, the dozen or more times “Mr. Resendez-Ramirez” was in police and Border Patrol custody, no one bothered to identify him or keep a record of him; nor, apparently, did reporter Jim Yardley of the Times know that “Mr. Resendez-Ramirez” was in the FBI criminal database for anyone interested in finding him there.

* in fact, Resendiz/Resendez would strike two weeks later in Gorham, Illinois, slaughtering 79-year-old George Morber with a shotgun which he then used to bludgeon to death Morber’s daughter, 51-year-old Carolyn Frederick.  The methodology of those murders implies premeditation for maximum enjoyment: kill the male (perhaps dangerous if not quickly dealt with) by shooting but leave the more helpless female for a slower, more satisfying death.

The New York Times was able to finally weigh in with a thorough breakdown of exactly who the monster was but was quick to add that it was nearly impossible for law enforcement to get their hands on him…again.

Because of his habit of staying on the move, and because the authorities’ most recent photograph of him is four years old, the challenge of finding Mr. Resendez-Ramirez is formidable.  “It’s like trying to find a needle in five haystacks,” said Ron Walker, a Houston police lieutenant.  Earlier this week dozens of investigators combed hundreds of railroad cars in Brazoria County, south of Houston, in a search that netted 21 people suspected of being illegal immigrants, but not Mr. Resendez-Ramirez.

The most recent clue came on Saturday, when officers in Del Rio, a border town, found the abandoned white Honda Civic of a Houston schoolteacher, Noemi Dominguez, who was discovered beaten to death in her home on June 5.  Today the Houston police announced that the fingerprints of Mr. Resendez-Ramirez had been found in the car.

Investigators concede that little is known of Mr. Resendez-Ramirez.  He was born in Puebla, about 115 miles southeast of Mexico City, and is 39, the investigators say.

* Four days later, the FBI decided “Ángel Maturino Reséndiz” a.k.a. “Rafael Resendez-Ramirez” should be on their “Ten Most Wanted” list.
* Three weeks later, “Rafael Resendez-Ramirez” was again in custody and, this time, not being asked to walk himself back across the border.  He wasn’t captured by a combined Federal / State / local law enforcement man-hunt task force, he had turned himself in.

Two days after he was voluntarily released, Resendiz found his way across the border.  First, he traveled to Houston, Texas, where he bludgeoned Noemi Dominguez in her bed; then to Weimar, where he beat Josephine Konvicka to death; then up to Gorham, Illinois, where he killed George Morber Sr., and his daughter, Carolyn.

When the Border Patrol let him go on June 1, 1999, Resendiz was the subject of three outstanding warrants for his arrest: one issued on January 5, 1999, by Houston-area law enforcement authorities related to the Benton burglary and murder; another issued by the FBI on May 27, 1999, charging Resendiz with being an unlawful fugitive from justice and describing his connection to the murders of Benton, the Sirnics, and Christopher Maier; and the old 1995 bench warrant related to burglary charges in New Mexico.  In addition, he had three past deportations and nine criminal convictions on his record, including several aggravated felony convictions that should have disqualified him for voluntary departure. …

When news of Resendiz’s June 1, 1999, release by Border Patrol agents in New Mexico became public, the INS sought vainly to pin the blame on everyone and everything but itself.  Some complained there hadn’t been enough money to link the IDENT system to other criminal databases.  INS spokesman Russ Bergeron and others pointed the finger at police and investigators for not asking the agency to put Resendiz’s warrant information in its system.  The killer’s data were missing, Bergeron explained, because “nothing has been input into IDENT at the request of the outside agencies.”³²

Aside from the pass-the-buck pusillanimity, there was one other problem with that statement.  It was patently false.

In the six months leading up to Resendiz’s encounter with the Border Patrol on June 1, 1999, the INS had received numerous requests from local and state investigators to put internal alerts about the fugitive serial killer in the INS’s tracking system.

After Claudia Benton’s body was discovered at the end of 1998, West University Place police officer Kenneth Macha, who worked in the slain doctor’s suburban neighborhood, contacted INS Special Agent Kelly Dozier in Houston.  Macha inquired about putting a “border lookout” into the agency’s system.  Such an alert would notify border officers and other INS officials that Resendiz was a wanted man and should not be released.  ~ Malkin¹¹

Top priority for government agencies at all levels is to break their oaths and not do their jobs, meaning, the borders stay wide open with virtually no oversight, allowing millions upon millions of unknown, undocumented individuals (many of them as dangerous as “Rafael Resendez-Ramirez”) stream through at will.  This agenda is criticall to the Vatican because the vast majority of these illegals are Roman Catholic; many of them are indigent and almost all of them have grown up in a Third-World, socialist culture destroyed by their “social justice” ideology.^{12, 13, 14}

Rather than address the fact that none of this would’ve happened had law enforcement officers simply done their jobs and treat all illegal aliens as law-breakers as well as strictly enforcing America’s borders, smokescreen façades are created such as the “Department of Homeland Security” and it’s “automated biometric identification system”, “IDENT”; which supposedly differentiates from criminals who have also committed violent crimes verses those who haven’t and are welcomed to come and go as they please.

Malkin avoids the entire issue and claims that the problem was with not even maintaining the façade (which is sadly, also accurate).

Also in early January 1999, a Houston police analyst contacted another INS special agent, Marco Saltarelli, who specialized in apprehending and deporting criminal aliens and was assigned the Resendiz case.  The police analyst asked for Resendiz’s “A-file”—the INS cache of records that includes jail records, prior indictments, photographs, and other documents that could help track Resendiz down.  Saltarelli agreed to order the file.¹⁵

There is very little information available about Immigration and Naturalization Special Agent Saltarelli.  We’ll just have to take a guess based upon his name what his ethnicity and possible religious affiliations are.

As for his “specialty” of “apprehending and deporting criminal aliens”, if “Rafael Resendez-Ramirez” is any example, Special Agent Saltarelli is not so special.

Of course, his job might actually be enabling “criminal aliens” (odd that “bombastic Conservative” Michelle Malkin skips over the fact that, by their existence, an illegal alien has already broken United States Federal law, just as her far-Left counterparts do).

His extremely sparse LinkedIn profile would actually suggest that’s the case as he is now a “Senior Special Agent” at the “Department of Homeland Security”.  After helping enable a monster to rape and murder Americans at will, Saltarelli was given a promotion in the border security hierarchy to insure even more of the same, much as Catholic clergy who enable child predator priests become Bishops, Cardinals and Popes.

On March 1, 1999, Texas ranger Drew Carter contacted yet another INS special agent in Houston, Albert Plasket, to obtain Resendiz’s A-file.  The West University Place investigators accompanied Carter to the INS office.  Plasket and other special agents discussed the case with the cops, but none ever mentioned the existence of IDFNT’s lookout capabilities. Nine days later.  Carter phoned Plasket to make sure there was an “internal hold” on Resendiz—so that if the INS came into contact with him, the agency would keep him in custody.  Plasket took no action to place Resendiz in the IDENT lookout system — and later claimed not to remember taking Carter’s call.³⁷

Small wonder.  Plasket was apparently busy with other matters.  Barely a month after meeting with the cops.  Agent Plasket was indicted in a separate matter for extortion and theft of government funds and later sentenced to one year’s probation after resigning from the agency.^{38 16}

So a Federal Agent misrepresented himself in order to extort money from a victim—a gross breach of the public trust—and he was punished by allowing him to resign and being given probation.  If anything, Albert Plasket fits right in to this scenario of United States Government corruption and it’s a wonder that he was prosecuted at all.

The history of “religion”, more specifically, Christianity, is powerful, surprising and even shocking.

“Shocking” because so much of it has been erased by a hidden hand.

Biblical Christianity teaches that Judaism was given by God to prove the fallen state of mankind and its need for a Savior.  As a religion, it is impossible to follow perfectly and, therefore, showed that no one can be right before God, or earn their way into Heaven.

In 538 A.D., Justinian broke the siege of the Goths around Rome, deposed their Pope—Silverius—and emplaced his own—Vigilius—via military escort, as Pontifex Maximus.

As the power of the Roman religion grew under the guise of “Christianity”, Christians who still had access to the Scriptures decried it as heretical with the reinstitution of a priesthood (now required to be celibate), prayer to angels, the supplanting of Messiah Jesus with His mother and “indulgences” (release from certain sins by payment).

Christians like the Albigensians, the Waldensians and the Vaudois were, in turn, horribly persecuted by Rome.  The target of Rome’s original Crusades, they were chased into the Alps and, when caught, brutally tortured and murdered; men, women and children.  Any Bibles found were immediately burned.

The Papacy outlawed the Word of God, only allowing it to be kept by clergy in Latin.  Christianity remained in darkened ignorance of its own Scriptures for a thousand years until the Protest of Augustinian monk, Martin Luther in 1517 A.D.

Prior to this, when Christians were found with Bibles, they were eradicated in flames.  Such was the end of men like Jan Hus, Jerome of Prague and many of John Wycliffe’s dedicated Lollards.

However, what made Luther’s protest infinitely more powerful than those of Wycliffe or Hus was an invention that occurred just a few years before and a few days ride southwest of him: that of Johannes Gutenberg’s movable type printing press.

It was caused by Pope Leo X (Giovanni de Medici) exploiting the ignorance of the people and bilking them out of wealth they didn’t have, under the guise of saving their souls!  He sent his most dedicated servants (at that time), the Dominicans, to frighten the masses with hellfire, then tell them they could pay their way out of it for themselves and even their dead loved ones via an “indulgence” that went to fund the Medici Pope’s lascivious and licentious parties.  While peasant parents, devastated by sickness and disease that claimed the life of their little boy gave Dominicans their last ducats thinking Leo would accept them as Vicar of Christ and release their boy from Purgatory, he was actually releasing naked little boys from the deserts of his parties to be enjoyed by his guests.

In response to this, an outraged Father Martin Luther posted a referendum on such “indulgences” with 95 pointed paragraphs.

When he submitted his 95 Theses, which he had nailed to the doors of All Saints Cathedral in Wittenberg on All Saints Day (November 1^st, 1517), to his leadership in Rome, copies had arrived well before his original!

Luther’s benefactor, Frederick the Wise, Elector of Saxony, knew his favorite monk was in danger of mercenaries paid by the Vatican to murder him.  Frederick shut Luther up in Wartburg Castle for his own protection, and Luther was forced to pass the time using the manuscripts of his friend Desiderius Erasmus to translate the Bible into colloquial German in order to give the Word of God back to the people.

But much to the consternation of the Inquisition (at the time led by the Dominicans, but turned over to the Jesuits a few years hence), these Bibles could not be burned faster than the Gutenberg press was able to print them.

To make matters worse, Luther’s example was being followed by other upstart priests such as William Tyndale, who wrote his translation in his native English.  Although Tyndale was betrayed and executed by Henry VIII for his “crimes” against a Church Henry eventually broke from, Tyndale’s dying exclamation, “Lord, open the King of England’s eyes!” would be shown by how Henry later ordered the Tyndale Bible to be chained to the altars of every church in England.

Now, to the Papacy, the Bible was more dangerous than ever.

A new tactic was arrived at and coined by Henry’s Lord Chancellor, Archbishop of York and Primate of England, Thomas Wolsey, as “learning against learning”.  This new approach sought to discredit the Bible and all who revered it.

It was an agenda to re-write our very reality and it has had nothing less than fiendish success.

* isolate the variables and conduct an experiment in a sterile environment to replicate the observation
* have a trusted peer replicate the experiment to prove or disprove

Humanity has turned over both its past and its cosmology—its very reality—to “experts” who refuse to adhere to their own disciplines.  As a result we are all oblivious slaves with the key to our freedom sitting right in front of us, yet no one reaches for it.  It is an invisible key which only reappears through the power of skepticism: refusal to trust anyone in “authority”.

Within 15 years of Martin Luther’s revolution to reform Christianity, a “Counter-Reformation” was born to undo and discredit the effort.

It was spear-headed by a Spanish Basque nobleman and Templar²⁵ mystic called Íñigo López de Loyola who would later become known as Ignatius Loyola.

Loyola’s fanaticism shocked even the most dedicated Catholics and he was twice imprisoned by the Inquisition but Alessandro Farnese (Pope Paul III) shrewdly saw Loyola’s usefulness.  By 1540, Loyola (along with fellow Spaniard Francisco de Jasso y Azpilicueta—later “Francis Xavier”—and Frenchman Pierre Lefevre—“Peter Faber”) had organized the Knights of the Virgin Mary which Farnese cunningly ordained as the “Society of Jesus”.

They were and are unrivaled in their dedication to the Papacy and, in fact, have put many a Pope to death for failing to maintain their ruthless standards.  Manipulation, murder, extortion, sexual deviancy, toppling governments, instigating or betraying revolutions, exploitation of the confessional—the ends justify the means for Pope Paul’s shock troops.  They were soon given the sarcastic nickname “Jesuits” for jesuita or “Are you Jesus-like?”

Disguise and infiltration are their specialty, as is shown by the re-branding of Guy “Guido” Fawkes as the embodiment of rebellion against tyranny, illustrates.  A Jesuit plot to blow up the House of Lords on the 5^th of November, 1605, in order to murder Protestant King James I, his queen and his son, was betrayed (some suggest by the Jesuits, themselves, in a Machiavellian move for sympathy).  Under the instruction of Jesuit Provincial Henry Garnett, Fawkes was found guarding the entrance to the basement where the gunpowder had been stockpiled.

The use of Fawkes’ visage as the representation of resistance also shows just how much the Jesuits manipulate the very fabric of our existence.

But the examples of Jesuit control don’t end there.

Jesuit-trained Roman Catholics hold the key positions of power all over the world from the U.K. to the E.U. to the U.S.  The list is so expansive and extensive it staggers the mind and makes examples hard to sift through.  Here are just a very few—

* Donald John Trump, current U.S. President, trained by the Jesuits at Fordham before he transferred to the clandestine “public” Jesuit college, the University of Pennsylvania.
* Trump’s predecessor, President Barack Obama, was trained in Chicago to be a “community organizer” by Jesuit Father Greg Galluzzo.
* Emmanuel Macron, President of France, is Catholic; he ran against “far Right xenophobe” Marine le Pen who was taught by her father Jean-Marie le Pen to blame all of Roman Catholic France’s woes on the Jews.  Jean-Marie learned this while at Saint Francis Xavier boarding school in Vannes.
* Macron was sexualized by his 6^th grade teacher while attending La Providence Jesuit high school in Amiens.  He would go on to marry her.
* Speaking of deviant sex and corrupt control, the current Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, is the far-Left Catholic son of a previous far-Left Jesuit-trained Catholic Prime Minister, Pierre Trudeau.  There’s an excellent chance that he’s actually the biological son of thrice-Jesuit-trained Communist Catholic, Fidel Castro.
* José Manuel Barroso; 11^th President of the European Commission, was trained by the Jesuits at Georgetown as was former President Bill Clinton.
* Former President of the European Council (plans European policy), staunch Dutch Leftist Roman Catholic Herman Van Rompuy, was raised from his youth at Jesuit Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege (Grammar School) in Brussels.
* In fact, the entire European Unification movement is an overt attempt to reinstitute the medieval “Holy Roman Empire” and was founded by Jesuit Seminarian (as was the secret Bilderberg power meetings) Jozef Retinger.
* America wields her terrible military might through Jesuit-trained Roman agents from Secretaries of State like Alexander Haig through Leftist Roman Catholics like Leon Panetta who held both Secretary of Defense and Director of the CIA.
* The Pentagon is a mirror image of the Farnese family castle in Caprarola, Italy and its foundation was laid on September 11^th, 1941—just a few months prior to the “surprise attack” of Pearl Harbor.

* When truth-seekers ask Google “Which families secretly control the world?” Google answers, “DuPont, Astor, Kennedy²⁶, Rockefeller and Rothschild”.  Carefully omitted from any search are the names Farnese, Orsini, Borgia, Aldobrandini, Breakspeare, Colonna and Medici.  Each have held positions in Rome as Bishops, Cardinals and Popes.  This becomes less of a surprise when you find out that Google was “ordained” the same day Alessandro Farnese ordained the Jesuits: September 27^th.
* Donald Trump was put into office by Jesuit-trained Goldman Sachs strategist Stephen K. Bannon who got his marching orders directly via a Vatican visit in 2014.
* Trump has installed even more Jesuit-trained Roman Catholics than his Jesuit-trained predecessor (no mean feat); from his Chief of Staff and former Secretary of “Homeland Security”, Marine Corps General John Francis Kelly (Georgetown) to the current Secretary of “Defense”, Roman Catholic Marine Corps General James Mattis.  Mattis is known as the “warrior monk” because he’s gone his entire life without getting married.  Normally, this is just a personal oddity but, given the role of sexual deviancy in the halls of power, quite disconcerting.
* The Central Intelligence Agency was founded by a Roman Catholic Knight of Malta, William Donovan, and often run overtly by Catholics from Walter Bedell Smith to William Casey to William Colby to the “Drone Executioner”, John O. Brennan.
* The same is true of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; founded by devout Roman Catholic Charles Joseph Bonaparte (great grand-nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte) and its many Catholic Directors from Opus Dei member Louis Freeh to James Comey, infamous for giving both Hillary Clinton and suspected pedophile John Podesta a clean bill of health.
* The Pentagon is dominated by Roman Catholics (many of them Jesuit-trained) from former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Army General Martin Dempsey to the current Chairman, chosen by “Democrat” Barack Obama and maintained by “Republican” Donald Trump, Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford (Georgetown).
* Even the Texas (Connecticut) Bush ruling dynasty has its Jesuits in the woodpile, despite claiming to be Protestants—from Knight of Columbus and former Governor of Florida, John Ellis “JEB” Bush to maternal patriarch George Herbert Walker (namesake for both Bush Presidents), who lived with the Jesuits at Stonyhurst in England.
* Whether Democrat or Republican, the Jesuits rule behind the scenes and few choke-holds evidence this better than Speaker of the House of Representatives.  Far-Left Jesuit-mentored Catholic Nancy Pelosi resided over the ram-rodding of socialized medicine and her successor, Jesuit-trained (Xavier) “Conservative” John Boehner did nothing to jeopardize it.  His Roman Catholic successor, former altar boy Paul Ryan has also stayed the course.
* When plausible deniability is needed by Rome, her agents wait until they step down from office to “convert” to Catholicism; from former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
* Although Newt’s “conversion” may be presented as a “surprise” the Catholicism of his third wife, Callista, isn’t.  She’s such a stalwart Catholic she was made Ambassador to the sovereign city-state of the Vatican.

In 2012, “converted” Catholic Newt Gingrich was filmed receiving the very rare honor of a Papal Mass.

The man sitting right next to him (conveniently edited so that only his back was shown in the above video) was none other than “Evangelical” Televangelist Benny Hinn.

Few have done more harm to “Protestant” Christianity than Hinn.  Consequently, both the news media and Congress are proud to out him.

Only after they have done great harm to Christians do these Roman insurgents make headlines, such as frequent guest of conspiracy host Alex Jones, “Baptist” preacher Steven Anderson.

Given Anderson’s pull to put Christians to shame, it’s not a huge leap to call him an incognito Jesuit priest (and likely homosexual).

Equally, Benny Hinn and Rome go way back, as well.

Hinn has turned in his signature white suit for a high-collar black jacket, with a window for his white shirt underneath at the center.  He is also a very vociferous supporter of Jesuit-trained President Donald Trump.

Trump’s “Spiritual Advisor” is another Prosperity Gospel Preacher and Televangelist, Paula White (who lists her name as “Paula White-Cain”).

White was chosen to give Trump’s inaugural prayer, over which the Washington Post lamented—

White is known for embracing the prosperity gospel — the theology that God will bless true believers not just with eternal salvation but with material wealth here on Earth.  To many believers, the prosperity gospel offers hope and promise.  But to other Christians, it’s heretical; and to some, prosperity gospel preachers’ motives are suspect, especially when they seem to be enriching themselves by asking for money from their followers.

Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) launched an investigation in 2007 into spending by White and several other televangelists, but ended it three years later without reaching any conclusions.

Given how both Congress and these Televangelist charlatans answer to the same authority, we shouldn’t be surprised that Senator Grassley’s “investigation” ended “without reaching any conclusions”.

As I’ve chronicled for you in my latest book, the surest sign of corruption is when police, prosecutors and judges all refuse to do their jobs and politicians then provide smokescreens with “Commissions” and “Committees”.  If even Sherlock Holmes, himself, (the creation of Roman Catholic Freemason Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle) were to conduct a “Congressional Investigation” the end result would still be the same: nothing.  Legislatures write legislation.  They are bodies that have nothing to do with law enforcement.

From the very beginning, the seat of American power was owned by Catholics and named after Catholics.  The “Capitol” (named after Capitoline, one of the infamous seven hills of Rome) isn’t called “White House” for its color but in honor of Father Andrew White of the Society of Jesus.  Before it was “Washington, D.C.” it was known as “Little Rome on the Potomac” given that it’s gnostic architecture came from Catholic Freemason Pierre Charles L´Enfante.

Tying it all together in depravity, Hinn and Paula White were spotted in Rome holding hands, despite their respective marriages to other people.

Unfortunately, neither Charles Grassley nor the Washington Post were available so the reporting fell to the National Enquirer where it was sure to get it’s due respect.

No major news outlet thought the story was worth carrying but California’s Orange County Weekly did.

Perhaps, the reason media founded and run by Papal Knights like Henry Luce, William Randolph Hearst, John Paul Getty and Rupert Murdoch wasn’t interested in the explosive story was because of the even bigger story beneath it—

They found themselves in Italy because both were meeting independently with Vatican officials, according to White, who reportedly added, “We were never alone and were in the constant company of staff and other associates.” ~ OC Weekly

In an effort to cover up the very “un-Christian” adultery, two of Christianity’s most embarrassing and harmful “Protestants” admitted they go to Rome to receive instruction from the Jesuit Pope!

When invited to sit with another embarrassment to Christianity, Jim Bakker²⁷ Paula White said that opposition to Donald Trump was opposition to God.

This is quite a statement from a Christian woman preacher given that Donald Trump is a pedophile who enables other pedophiles and has likely gone as far as to have sexually abused his daughter Ivanka (who is now a foundational part of American government).

Does Paula White believe in what she does?  Is she oblivious to the great harm she is being used to commit?

It’s certainly possible.  She, herself, is a victim of child sex abuse, apparently by her father, who committed suicide.

Pentecostal Benny Hinn Says Catholics Have More Miracles, Credits Eucharist

Recently, the country has undergone a face-lift, but the atrocities and abuses remain (although they are now more covert).

For most of its independent years, the country has been engrossed in rampant ethnic strife and Burma’s myriad ethnic groups have been involved in one of the world’s longest-running ongoing civil wars.  During this time, the United Nations and several other organisations have reported consistent and systematic human rights violations in the country.^[14][15][16]  In 2011, the military junta was officially dissolved following a 2010 general election, and a nominally civilian government was installed.  While former military leaders still wield enormous power in the country, the Burmese military have taken steps toward relinquishing control of the government.  This, along with the release of Aung San Suu Kyi and political prisoners, has improved the country’s human rights record and foreign relations, and has led to the easing of trade and other economic sanctions.^[17][18]  There is, however, continuing criticism of the government’s treatment of the Muslim Rohingya minority and its poor response to the religious clashes.^[19][20][21]  In the landmark 2015 election, Aung San Suu Kyi’s party won a majority in both houses.

Myanmar is a country rich in jade and gems, oil, natural gas and other mineral resources.  In 2013, its GDP (nominal) stood at US$56.7 billion and its GDP (PPP) at US$221.5 billion.^[3]  The income gap in Myanmar is among the widest in the world, as a large proportion of the economy is controlled by supporters of the former military government.^[22][23]  As of 2016, according to the Human Development Index (HDI), Myanmar had a medium level of human development, ranking 145 out of 188 countries.^[4] ~ Wikipedia

It is easy for the Elite to “play” there as Burma rarely gets media coverage.

Myanmar’s head of state, “First State Counsellor” Aung San Suu Kyi, is the kindler, gentler face on Burma’s tyranny.

Although, as “political prisoners” go, the majority have suffered far worse than 15 years of “house arrest”.

In fact, if Suu Kyi were a puppet of the Elite, it would be the perfect way to portray her as a persecuted outsider.

This has been bolstered by her receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991.  The merits behind the award rest on her ineffective resistance to the ruling military junta and her “house arrest”.

The year before she received the Sakharov Prize from European Parliament for the same criteria.  The way the European Union celebrated its 60^th anniversary of tyranny shows clearly who those officials all work for.

Perhaps most telling has been her support from the agents of corruption in the United States, having received a “Congressional Gold Medal” in 2012.

It is appropriate that McConnell and Clinton stand directly behind the award-winner, as they are most responsible for her empowerment.

Clinton is the extreme sexual deviant installed into hegemony by the Central Intelligence Agency and their controllers, the Jesuits (who directly trained her husband).

McConnell married into power; specifically, the Roman Catholic Asian drug trade.

Not to be left out are the contributions of Barack Obama and his Roman Catholic handler, Joe Biden.

Perhaps this was why: despite the new happy face on Myanmar’s military autocracy, ethnic cleansing continues.

Particularly disturbing are reports that Burmese soldiers are pillaging the remote villages of Myanmar’s Rohingya Muslims where they commit atrocities like raping women and children.

This is done under the rubric of fighting “ISIS” for the never-ending “Global War on Terror”.

But modern “jihad” is a completely fabricated enemy founded in the bowels of Roman Western Intelligence operatives like Zbigniew Brzezinski, “close and warm” friend of Pope John Paul II, below pictured with an Afghani soldier believed to be Osama bin Laden (known by the CIA as “Tim Osman”).

Perhaps some will consider criticism of Myanmar’s First State Counsellor as unfair, especially in light of an accusation that she is an operative or at least a pawn of the Papacy.

Interestingly, however, Aung San Suu Kyi (listed as a practicing Buddhist) spent her first 15 years under Roman Catholic tutelage (by “coincidence” the same amount of time she later spent under “house arrest”).  She completed her secondary education at the Convent of Jesus and Mary School in New Delhi, (“Hindu/Buddhist” India) with the “Sisters of Jesus”.²⁹

Her late husband, Michael Aris, had even more interesting connections.

Aris was born in Catholic Cuba to a Foreign Service Catholic British father and French-Canadian Catholic, (and Catholic-educated) mother.  Not surprisingly, he was raised Catholic.³⁰

When the Aris family returned to “Protestant/Anglican” England, Michael and his twin brother Anthony attended Worth Abbey Roman Catholic boarding school.³¹

His well-traveled father gave him a Buddhist “prayer wheel” as a gift.  Again, coincidentally, one of his instructors at Worth just happened to be future Knight of Malta Grand Master Andrew Bertie who also just happened to speak Ü-Tsang Tibetan.  Bertie translated the prayer wheel for Aris helping imbue him with a passion for the Orient.³²

Aris would go on to teach Asian History at St. John’s, Oxford.  “St. John’s” is the most well-endowed college at Oxford, founded by Roman Catholic Sir Thomas White to lead the Counter-Reformation against Protestantism.

It’s full name is Saint John Baptist College which is important given that the secret belief of the Templars was to profane Jesus Christ as an imposter and worship the Baptist as the true Messiah (known as “Johanism”).³³

St. John’s boasts many powerful alumni such as Barack Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Ashton Carter.

Michael Aris died of prostate cancer on his 53^rd birthday in 1999.  Although believed by many to share his wife’s apparent Buddhism (they were married in a Buddhist ceremony); the Benedictine monks of Worth and Ampleforth Abbies gave blessings at his funeral.³⁴

In 2013, Myanmar’s First State Counsellor was received in a personal audience with Jesuit White Pope³⁵ Francis, Jorge Mario Bergoglio.

If any had doubts about her fealty, they were dissolved with a kiss.

If you read the NKJV, the translators capitalize the pronouns in verse seven clearly leading all to believe “the restrainer” is the Lord.

But is that accurate?

The King James version was based upon the highly-reliable Textus Receptus manuscripts.  The New King James, however, was not a modern English update of the KJV.  Critical changes to Scripture were made.  Although the 1982 preface to the New King James states the intent is only to take the Elizabethan language¹ and make it understandable in modern English, the translators failed to mention that changes would be made according to the Septuagint and even Jerome’s Latin Vulgate!

Other translations are noticeably different.

So who is “the Restrainer”?  Does this help us understand who anti-Christ will be?  What is the “strong delusion”?

Often, it is assumptions that lead to biased and incorrect exegesis of Scripture.  Such is frequently an error of the Western mindset.  A Buddhist saw tells us—

If you wish to know the truth, hold no opinions.²

Daniel’s 70 Weeks

A similar confusion of pronouns can be found in an even more important passage; Daniel’s “70 Weeks”—the Prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27.

Sadly, there are no English translations that show this Prophecy in its clarity.

Daniel 9:24-27 (New International Version)
²⁴ “Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
²⁵ “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’  It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.
²⁶ After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing.  The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.  The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.
²⁷ He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’  In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering.  And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”

In one of the most important passages of Scripture are mixed two seminal yet diametrically-opposed figures; the Anointed Messiah and the Destroyer—the anti-Messiah (although not equal in power).

The key to interpretation is found in the final verse.  The one who puts an end to the sacrifice and offering must be evil, mustn’t he?  The “covenant” must be a future, 7-year covenant, mustn’t it?

In Scripture, there are only two Covenants—the first is the Covenant between YHWH and His People given by Moses.  It was a Covenant His People could not keep [Acts 15:7-11], one that was only meant to hold them and point them toward a new Covenant [Galatians 3:19-24].  This New Covenant was radically different from the old—rather than written on tablets of stone and impossible to keep, this One would be written on the hearts of God’s People and they would keep it out of love for Him! [Jeremiah 31:31-34]

In this light a literal reading of the Prophecy produces a radically different interpretation.

²⁴ ‘Seventy weeks are determined for thy people, and for thy holy city, to shut up the transgression, and to seal up sins, and to cover iniquity, and to bring in righteousness age-during, and to seal up vision and prophet, and to anoint the holy of holies.
²⁵ And thou dost know, and dost consider wisely, from the going forth of the word to restore and to build Jerusalem till Messiah the Leader [is] seven weeks, and sixty and two weeks: the broad place hath been built again, and the rampart, even in the distress of the times.

There are flip-flopping contrasts floating between verses 26 and 27; first Messiah arrives at the appointed time but is “cut off”.  Then, anti-Messiah comes (from the anti-Messiah people) and will destroy the Sanctuary and make desolate with a “flood” (flooding waters often are a Biblical metaphor for many people).  Contrasting again, Messiah will re-affirm the Old Covenant but only for a single “week” (7 years).  Halfway through, He will cause the sacrifice to become obsolete and impossible to continue both physically and spiritually.

¹ Jesus departed from the temple and was leaving when His disciples came to show Him the temple buildings.
² Jesus answered them, “Do you not see all these things?  Truly I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another that shall not be thrown down.”

Most bizarre of all, both Messiah and anti-Messiah work together to fulfill the Prophetic Divine Will!

It was intended for Messiah to re-affirm the Old Covenant with His 7-year ministry (beginning at His Baptism by John).

Halfway through His Ministry, traitorous Jewish leaders intent on killing anyone who threatened their power, seditiously worked with real power in Judea to have the Anointed One murdered without just cause (“not for Himself”).

A short time later, the people of the coming anti-Christ devastated Jerusalem and leveled the Temple down to its last foundation stone—Romans.

Gessius Florus loved money and hated Jews.  As Roman procurator, he ruled Judea, caring little for their religious sensibilities.  When tax revenues were low, he seized silver from the temple.  As the uproar against him grew, in A.D. 66, he sent troops into Jerusalem who massacred 3,600 citizens.  Florus’s action touched off an explosive rebellion—the First Jewish Revolt—that had been sizzling for some time.

Launching the Revolt

The Jewish Revolt began—and met its bitter end—at Masada, a hunk of rock overlooking the Dead Sea.  The Romans had built a virtually impregnable fortress there.  Yet the atrocities of Florus inspired some crazy Zealots to attack Masada.  Amazingly, they won, slaughtering the Roman army there.

In Jerusalem, the temple captain signified solidarity with the revolt by stopping the daily sacrifices to Caesar.  Soon all Jerusalem was in an uproar, expelling or killing the Roman troops.  Then all Judea was in revolt; then Galilee.

Cestius Callus, the Roman governor of the region, marched from Syria with twenty thousand soldiers.  He besieged Jerusalem for six months, yet failed.  He left six thousand dead Roman soldiers, not to mention weaponry that the Jewish defenders picked up and used.

Emperor Nero then sent Vespasian, a decorated general, to quell the Judean rebellion.  Vespasian put down the opposition in Galilee, then in Transjordan, then in Idumea.  He circled in on Jerusalem.  But before the coup de grace, Nero died.  Vespasian became embroiled in a leadership struggle that concluded with the eastern armies calling for him to be emperor.  One of his first imperial acts was to appoint his son Titus to conduct the Jewish War.

Crushing the Revolt

By now, Jerusalem was isolated from the rest of the nation, and factions within the city fought over strategies of defense.  As the siege wore on, people began dying from starvation and plague.  The high priest’s wife, who once basked in luxury, scavenged for crumbs in the streets.

Meanwhile the Romans employed new war machines to hurl boulders against the city walls.  Battering rams assaulted the fortifications.  Jewish defenders fought all day and struggled to rebuild the walls at night.  Eventually the Romans broke through the outer wall, then the second wall, and finally the third wall.  Still the Jews fought, scurrying to the temple as their last line of defense.

That was the end for the valiant Jewish defenders and for the temple.  Historian Josephus claimed that Titus wanted to preserve the temple, but his soldiers were so angry at their resilient opponents that they burned it.  The remaining Jews were slaughtered or sold as slaves.

The Zealot band that took Masada held it for at least three more years.  When the Romans finally built their siege ramp and invaded the mountain fortress, they found the defenders dead—they had committed suicide to avoid being captured by foreigners.

Results of the Revolt

The Jewish Revolt marked the end of the Jewish state until modern times.  The destruction of the temple also signified a change in the Jews’ worship…³

Confirmed

Understanding the Romans as the people of the anti-Christ is the key to unlocking the proper understanding of these passages.  The Romans would later become “Holy Romans”, mutating just as Daniel predicted into a Beast very different from the three previous Beasts (empires) given to both Daniel and Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar.

This Fourth and Final Beast was unlike the previous three because she would control in secret.  This way, she would spread tendrils across civilization.

Now, instead of enforcing her will by posting soldiers on every street corner, she would co-opt the soldiers and officials of each nation she conquered and they would do her will in secret!

Daniel’s vision was in perfect harmony with the dream he interpreted for King Nebuchadnezzar in Chapter 2 of a great statue which had a head of gold (Babylon), a torso of silver (Medo/Persia), loins of brass (Greece), legs and feet of iron (Rome).

Notice how the teeth of the Final Beast were the same material as the legs in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream: iron.

But this new “Holy Roman Empire” knew she had been predicted in Scripture and went about wiping off her bloody fingerprints, leaving only faded clues behind.

The 1517 Reformation initiated by Martin Luther gave new light which explained that the entire office of the Papacy was anti-Christ.

The theme became very popular in the late Middle Ages among the Fraticelli, Wycliffites, and Hussites, who identified the popes with the Antichrist soon to be overthrown.  Luther was unwittingly in line with these sectaries, with one significant difference, however.

Whereas they identified particular popes, because of their evil lives, with Antichrist, Luther held that every pope was Antichrist even though personally exemplary, because Antichrist is collective: an institution, the papacy, a system which corrupts the truth of Christ.

That was why Luther could repeatedly address Leo X in terms of personal respect only a week or so after blasting him as Antichrist.⁴

The Jesuit-run Counter-Reformation began immediately upon Luther’s break.  Unable to destroy the movement by the brute force of the Inquisition’s burning pyres and instruments of torture, they embarked upon a new strategy to compromise and discredit Scripture.

Again, the keepers of Truth became an underground minority.

Despite their creation by Freemason William Miller, Seventh Day Adventists remained as the sole keeper of the torch of Luther.

Adventist scholar Uriah Smith confirmed these interpretations for us in the 19^th century.

Commenting on the prophecy that the little horn should “wear out the saints of the Most High,” Barnes, in his Notes on Dan.7:25, says: “Can any one doubt that this is true of the papacy?  The Inquisition, the persecutions of the Waldenses, the ravages of the Duke of Alva, the fires of Smithfield, the tortures of Goa, — indeed, the whole history of the papacy, may be appealed to in proof that this is applicable to that power.  If anything could have worn out the saints of the Most High, — could have cut them off from the earth so that evangelical religion would have become extinct, — it would have been the persecutions of the papal power.  In year 1208 a crusade was proclaimed by Pope Innocent III against the Waldenses and Albigenses, in which a million men perished.  From the beginning of the order of Jesuits in the year 1540 to 1580, nine hundred thousand were destroyed.  One hundred and fifty thousand perished by the Inquisition in thirty years.  In the Low Countries fifty thousand persons were hanged, beheaded, burned, or buried alive, for the crime of heresy, within the space of thirty-eight years from the edict of Charles V against the Protestants to the peace of Chateau Cambresis in 1559.  Eighteen thousand suffered by the hand of the executioner in the space of five years and a half, during the administration of the Duke of Alva.  Indeed, the slightest acquaintance with the history of the papacy will convince any one that what is here said of ‘making war with the saints’ ([Daniel 7] verse 21), and ‘wearing out the saints of the Most High’ (verse 25), is strictly applicable to that power, and will accurately describe its history.”  (See Buck’s Theological Dictionary, art., Persecutions: Oswald’s Kingdom, etc., pp.107-133; Dowling’s History of Romanism; Fox’s Book of Martyrs: Charlotte Elizabeth’s Martyrology; The Wars of the Huguenots; The Great Red Dragon, by Anthony Gavin, formerly one of the Roman Catholic priests of Saragossa, Spain; Histories of the Reformation, etc.) …

“The prince of the covenant” unquestionably refers to Jesus Christ, “the Messiah the Prince,” who was to “confirm the covenant” one week with his people. Dan. 9:25-27.  The prophet, having taken us down to the death of Tiberius, now mentions incidentally an event to transpire in his reign, so important that it should not be passed over; namely, the cutting off of the Prince of the covenant, or in other words, the death of our Lord Jesus Christ.  According to the prophecy, this took place in the reign of Tiberius.  Luke informs us (3:1-3) that in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, John the Baptist commenced his ministry.  The reign of Tiberius is to be reckoned, according to Prideaux, Dr. Hales, Lardner, and others, from his elevation to the throne to reign jointly with Augustus, his step-father, in August, A.D. 12.  His fifteenth year would therefore be from August, A.D. 26, to August, A.D. 27.  Christ was six months younger than John, and is supposed to have commenced his ministry six months later, both, according to the law of the priesthood, entering upon their work when they were thirty years of age.  If John commenced in the spring, in the latter portion of Tiberius’s fifteenth year, it would bring the commencement of Christ’s ministry in the autumn of A.D. 27; and right here the best authorities place the baptism of Christ, it being the exact point where the 483 years from B.C. 457, which were to extend to the Messiah the Prince, terminated; and Christ went forth proclaiming that the time was fulfilled.  From this point we go forward three years and a half to find the date of the crucifixion; for Christ attended but four Passovers, and was crucified at the last one.  Three and a half years from the autumn of A.D. 27 bring us to the spring of A.D. 31.  The death of Tiberius is placed but six years later, in A.D. 37.⁵

Who Is The Restrainer?

Now with the proper understanding we can return to our original question.

It was well understood be even “Church Fathers” like Quintus Septimius Florens Tertullianus, (c. 155 – 240 AD)—better known to us as “Tertullian”.

Dealing with the eschatological section of Paul’s first Epistle to the Thessalonians, Tertullian asks: ‘What archangel’s voice, what trump of God, is now heard, except it be forsooth in the entertainments of the heretics?  ‘He also points out that in the second Epistle to the Thessalonians Paul bids them not be troubled by false prophets, who teach that the day of the Lord is at hand.  For that day shall not come, unless there first comes a falling away, and the appearance of Antichrist.  The Antichrist cannot, however, come until he who now hinders shall be taken out of the way.  The ‘one who now hinders’ is the Roman Empire.  ‘What obstacle is there but the Roman state, the falling away of which, by being scattered |^p210 into ten kingdoms, shall introduce Antichrist upon (its own ruins.)’⁶

The anti-Christ office of the Papacy could not materialize unless the military office of the Roman Empire first disappeared.

Learning Against Learning

So if the early Church knew Rome was the 4^th and Final Beast, and Protestants knew the Papacy was the anti-Christ, why isn’t it common knowledge today?

With Rome so clearly depicted as the 4th and final Beast of both Daniel and Revelation, Jesuits needed to disconnect Christians from that interpretation and they used Preterism and Futurism to do it.

Preterism is the idea that most of prophecy has already taken place.  It was concocted by a Jesuit.

Preterism was first advanced in 1604 by Jesuit Luis de Alcasar to destroy the Reformed Protestant teaching that the papacy was Mystery Babylon, the Great Whore and the historical Antichrist. …

Preterism wasn’t accepted by large groups of Protestants and an alternative interpretation of the End Times was put forth.

Futurism is more appealing in that it acknowledges that much of prophecy is yet future but it distracts from the 4th Beast and paints the anti-Christ as a man who suddenly appears just before the Tribulation and who stands alone, apart from any organization or system.

It, too, was fabricated by a Jesuit.

Francisco Ribera (1537-1591) of Salamanca, Spain, published a 500 page commentary on the grand points of Babylon and Antichrist, the object being to set aside the Protestant teaching that the Papacy is the Antichrist.  In his commentary, he assigned the first chapters of Revelation to the first century.  The rest he restricted to a literal three and a half years a the end of time.  He taught that the Jewish temple would be rebuilt by a single individual antichrist who would abolish the Christian religion, deny Christ, pretend to be God, and conquer the world.⁸ …

Ribera’s commentary laid the foundation for the greater structure of Futurism, which would be built upon and expanded by those who followed.  Ribera’s teaching was further popularized by Robert Bellarmine (1544-0621), an Italian cardinal and the most renowned of all Jesuit controversialists.¹⁰

After accepting the Jesuits’ Futurist System (and the Preterist System…) millenarian Protestants no longer saw Rome as a present but only a distant future threat.¹¹  We should also mention Irving’s system saw no hope of victory over the present forces of evil except “by the brightness of his coming” in the second advent. With no hope, why try to conquer all things for Christ? ~ Death of the Church Victorious, Ovid Need^{557 7}

Perhaps such a complete accomplishment seems impossible—no organization on Earth could so thoroughly control the understanding of almost all Christendom … could it?

“Unless those days were shortened, no one would be saved.  But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.  Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it.  For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.  Listen, I have told you beforehand.” ~ Matthew 24:22-25 (Modern English Version)

The dichotomy and contrast between the old Mosaic Covenant and new Covenant in Messiah Jesus Christ can clearly be seen in this passage from Jeremiah where even physically circumcised Jews are called “uncircumsized”—

²⁶ Egypt, Judah, Edom, the children of Ammon, Moab, and all who dwell in the wilderness who clip the hair on their temples; for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised of heart.

The meaning is clear: true Faith in YHWH (through His Son) is a radical change of the heart.  Righteousness is kept from within, not by memorization, legalism or rote.
