A listener and contributor to my program, Tony, sent me an e-mail recommending a teaching by Rob Skiba that gave away nothing on what Tony and I know as the “Jesuit World Order” but none-the-less Tony considered the teaching “critical” and “outstanding”.

I assume Tony felt that way because of a vein that runs through all good Christians; we respect and revere the “Hebrew roots” of our Jewish Savior and we wish to please Him by disciplined living.  That is the appeal of Judaising and it is a dangerous trap that our Roman foes exploit to the fullest.

Heirs of the Promise

Whether it’s reverence for the Bible or respect for our “Hebrew roots”, the Dragon of Rome has zeroed in on our emotions of warmth and exploited them to the fullest in order to cover her tracks.

I remember like it was yesterday one of my final meetings with supposed Jesuit foe Eric Jon Phelps and my desperate attempts to rationalize the negative aspects of his mission such as needless enflaming of racial hatred¹ or his insistence that modern Israel still has a future prophetic role to play.  I now know the reason is what Cardinal Thomas Wolsey called “Learning Against Learning”; the Counter-Reformation tactic of mixing truth with lies.  Eric Jon Phelps is an undercover Jesuit—he even has a family under false pretenses (a crime for which he will answer to when he stands before Christ).

Questioning “Eric” on his Dispensationalism, I asked him about the 144,000 or Revelation 7.  “Eric” insisted that he took the Bible literally.  This is a cunning tactic that is meant to instantly gain the high ground amongst Fundamentalist Christians who revere the Word of God.

After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the Earth, holding the four winds of the Earth, that the wind should not blow on the Earth, on the sea, or on any tree.  Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the Seal of the Living God.  And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the Earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the Earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”  And I heard the number of those who were sealed.  One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the Throne, and to the Lamb!” ~ Revelation 7:1-10 (NKJV, some capitalization added to denote uniqueness)

Have these sealed servants received their special commission based upon their bloodlines?

If so, why are the tribes of Dan and Ephraim not mentioned?  Do they have a special curse upon them, transferred by blood?

It is impossible to trace ancestors of the tribes today, will God perform a miracle for this purpose?  Is it necessary?

Seventh Day Adventist Pastor Doug Batchelor has an excellent and compelling teaching ² on this that explains each of these concerns; he calls the number a literal “Special Forces” for Christ while the listing of tribes is symbolic.

NOTE: I love the Adventists’ for their insights (they are the only Protestant sect today) but it is quite obvious and clear to us non-Adventists that the Seal of God is not their legalistic definition of a Saturday Sabbath.  Such are the pitfalls of organized religion; both truth and tradition are institutionalized.

* the 12 apostles did not come one from each Tribe, setting the precedent for a spiritual definition of “Children of Israel”
* historically, the 12 Tribes were very different in population but those listed in Revelation 7 and 14 are exactly 12,000 of each
* depending on how you count Joseph’s sons, Jacob’s two adopted grandsons, the Tribes can equal 12, 13 or 14
* the Miracle of Christ’s Sacrifice extends Grace to any person who believes; “Jews” are now defined by the spirit in their heart and not the flesh of their lineage (Romans 2:28-29)
* “12” is the number for building.  Pastor Doug states “Twelve is a perfect number for building, because it is one of the most versatile numbers.  It can be evenly divided by 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and of course 12.”
* this seal does not mean only 144,000 are Saved as verse 9 follows with the multitude worshipping the Lamb at His Throne
* the names appear to be aligned, not by birth, but by the significance of what they mean in order to reaffirm the Gospel!

What Is Sin?

Here we have a bit of a translational problem; a definition of “sin” can be found in I John 3:4 but that all depends upon which translation you read.

Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. ~ NKJV

Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. ~ NASB

Despite it’s bad reputation for inaccuracy, the NIV comes a little closer.

Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. ~ NIV

The King James appears to render this passage quite differently.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. ~ KJV

I neither like nor recommend the King James as its Shakespearian English is needlessly confusing.  It’s also a favorite translation of those desiring to sound righteous.  What I do recommend is serious scholarship; do exactly as I have done above.  Check multiple translations whenever possible and do original language word studies frequently.

What Is “the Law”?

If “sin” is “transgression of the Law”, then the next logical question is, “What is the Law?”  Does this mean that by eating shrimp, not covering my head or cutting the lawn on Saturday I’m sinning?

Perhaps a better question is, “Are the 613 Mitzvot of Moshe (the do’s and don’ts within the Law of Moses) what we mean by ‘the Law’?”

A careful examination of Scripture reveals something astounding: there appears to be more than one “Law”—the 10 Commandments or “Moral Law” verses the “Ceremonial Law”.

The “Moral Law” was written by the Finger of God on tablets of stone (even the second copy; Deuteronomy 10:1-5). (Exodus 31:18, 32:16)

The “Ceremonial Law” was written by Moses and placed in a Book as a testimony of Israel’s fleshly tendencies. (Deuteronomy 31:9-29)

The “Moral Law” was placed in the Ark. (Exodus 25:16, Deuteronomy 10:1-5, I King 8:9)

The “Ceremonial Law” was placed beside the Ark. (Deuteronomy 31:24-26)

The “Moral Law” is necessary for ordered living, pre-existed us (I John 3:8), is written in our hearts (Romans 2:15) and will stand forever. (Psalm 111:7-8)

The “Ceremonial Law” was necessary to explain the Plan of Salvation and was fulfilled by the Sacrifice of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. (Matthew 5:17-18, Matthew 27:51, Acts 15:10-11, Romans 10:4, Galatians 3:23-25, Ephesians 2:14-15, Hebrews 9:6-15)

The Sabbath

Failure to differentiate between the “Moral Law” and the “Ceremonial Law” can lead to the reverse of the Judaisers’ heresy; the idea that Christ rendered all Law obsolete.

The effective counter remains “But what about murder and adultery mentioned in the Ten Commandments?”  It’s clear that Christ’s sacrifice gave us freedom, not anarchy.

In fact, on the Sermon on the Mount, Christ took the Commandments and increased their jurisdiction beyond action and into your very thoughts and yearnings. (Matthew 5:21-30)

There is also a “Royal Law” which James says is still in effect—

If you really fulfill the Royal Law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the Law as transgressors.  For whoever shall keep the whole Law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.  For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.”  Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.  So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.  For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy.  Mercy triumphs over judgment. ~ James 2:8-13New King James Version (NKJV, some capitalization added for uniqueness)

Enterprising students of Scripture have noticed that all of the first 10 Commandments are explicitly and clearly reaffirmed in the New Testament with the exception of the 4^th.

Conversely, the listing of sins which merit damnation go beyond the 10 Commandments—

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived.  Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. ~ I Corinthians 6:9-10

Consequently, confusion (perhaps some rendered purposefully) still exists amongst Christians regarding the Commandment to, “keep holy the Sabbath Day”.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.  Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.  In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.  For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day.  Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. ~ Exodus 20:8-11 NKJV

To make matters more confusing, the first Christians appeared to gather for fellowship and worship on “the first day of the week” (Acts 20:7-8) in honor of the day that Christ rose from the dead. (Matthew 28:1, Mark 16:2-6, Luke 24:1, John 20:1)

Should Christians keep the Sabbath and should it be kept on the seventh day of the week?

The first concern with that issue is, “What is the seventh day of the week?”

For some in the Christian tradition, the first day of the week is named in accordance with the creation tale in the first book of the Bible, Genesis, where one of the first things God did was say “let there be light, and there was light.”

Not every culture has Sunday as its first day, and notable exceptions are found in the Slavic languages, where Sunday is the last day of the week and is not named in honor of the sun.  For example, in Hungary Sunday is called Vasárnap and means “market day,” and in Old Russian, where Sunday was sometimes called “free day.” ~ Today I Found Out

Monday or Sunday first day of the week?

The first day of the week varies all over the world.  In most cultures, Sunday is regarded as the first day of the week although many observe Monday as the first day of the week. According to the Bible, the Sabbath or Saturday is the last day of the week which marks Sunday as the first day of the week for many Jewish and Christian faiths, while many countries regard Monday as the first day of the week.

According to the international standard ISO 8601, Monday is the first day of the week ending with Sunday as the seventh day of the week.  Although this is the international standard, countries such as the United States still have their calendars refer to Sunday as the start of the seven-day week. ~ TimeAndDate.com

The moment we begin to push a strict understanding of even when to observe the Sabbath, we are in danger of the sins of legalism and pride.

One can make the case that pride was the beginning of all sin and rebellion against God (Isaiah 14:12-14), and as a result, is the worst of sins.

The traditions of the Ceremonial Law are significant, but only in as much as they create a beautiful picture of our Savior and His Redemption for us.  Without Him, they are completely without substance.  Amongst the Ceremonial Law are the marking of Sabbath days, the strict keeping of which leads to the deadly sin of pride—

In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the Circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.  And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us.  And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the Cross.  Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.  Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations — “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” which all concern things which perish with the using — according to the commandments and doctrines of men?  These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh. ~ Colossians 2:11-23

But are those Sabbath Days different from the Sabbath (as our Adventist brethren claim)?

If there is an important passage that needs a testimony in Scripture, we can expect it to be mentioned at least twice—for as the testimony of two or more is found, so is an issue resolved. (Matthew 18:16)

Who are you to judge another’s servant?  To his own master he stands or falls.  Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.

One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike.  Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.  He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it.  He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.  For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.  For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord.  Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.  For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.  But why do you judge your brother?  Or why do you show contempt for your brother?  For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. ~ Romans 14:4-10 (NKJV)

It is an absolute fact that one can be nourished in their relationship with Christ by voluntarily keeping a Sabbath, but only if that is their intent, because that was clearly His Intent—

Now it happened that He went through the grainfields on the Sabbath; and as they went His disciples began to pluck the heads of grain.  And the Pharisees said to Him, “Look, why do they do what is not lawful on the Sabbath?”

But He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and hungry, he and those with him: how he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the showbread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and also gave some to those who were with him?”

And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.  Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” ~ Mark 2:23-27

Unfortunately, the reality of this issue appears to be that the vast majority of Christians exercise no discipline in this matter and a very small minority of Christians push a fanatical adherence to the legalistic side of it.

As with every issue of guilt and emotion where there is no clarity of thought or balance, the Dragon has stepped up to excite the paranoia of the devoted into believing that a specific, mandated day of rest will be the ultimate evil brought by her iron grip.

Given that the Inquisition never died, it was simply put into the hands of Rome’s American puppets, there are far more serious issues to be concerned about.

I’m always wary of getting too far with what I know to be the Truth as it’s quite clear from my research that the Jesuit-controlled Papacy rules the world from behind all her secret societies. You have several rationalizations for your view—

Each premise of yours is next to impossible to prove or disprove so zetetic examination is impossible.  Without zetetic examination, one can not subject this world view to the Scientific Method; observations leading to an hypothesis proven by experiments where variables are isolated and observations are found to repeat. Therefore, stripping each premise away you’re left with one thing: ugly, primordial racism.  There is no reason or rationale to prejudice, just nonsensical hatred. What stands behind my world view is volumes of names, places and dates and I am very confident in them as a result. This has been fascinating for me and because I respect the work I’ve seen from your site I’ve invested time and effort in writing back to you.  If you don’t mind, I’m going to keep you anonymous and blog this.

I immediately got a response which told me they were okay with me posting this and that my attempts to dissuade them from this very near and real future catastrophe were of no use. The Whore of Babylon, the Dragon of Rome, is closing in on her victims (any who oppose her will be close behind).

In this episode of “Coast 2 Coast AM” we are treated to two government agents of outrageous fables; Lear and “Richard C. Hoagland” (don’t ever forget the “C” as in “C how stupid I think you are”).

Hoagland is the same schmuck who wrote an entire book that attempted to deflect criticisms of the moon landings by creating the hoax conspiracy that went “yes, the pictures of the moon have anomalies like no stars and were touched up but it was to hide the massive structures made of glass.”

I kid you not.

In the course of researching the work and claims of former DoD historian Douglas Dietrich, I found that one of his critics was none other than John Lear.

But what fascinated me and sowed this all together was that in the same fringe blog that Lear used to discredit Dietrich he also promoted the idea that the Nazi Holocaust of the Jews was a fabrication and that “Zionists” rule the world.

The reason for the ‘holocaust myth’ is to prevent anybody thinking they, (Nazi/jewish people) would ever be allied.

As you can see from the quote, he’s also an impeccable writer.

“Divide and Conquer” is one of the oldest strategies in the book and the CIA uses it to perfection. They have rendered the Liberty/Freedom movement nearly impotent with the outrageously exaggerated reach of “Jesuits” and “Zionists”.

It was extremely instructive to learn of an SAS team caught impersonating locals and killing Iraqis in an attempt to foment internecine hatred between Shias and Sunnis in Basra, 2005. The British used armor to flatten whole buildings to recover the humiliating assets.

So next time you get sucked in to “ZIONIST PLOT!” know that someone in a sterile Langley office is laughing as they read your comments.

To be vehemently against “Zionism” is to join hands with Nazis and Islamists and that should say something.

So if the nation of Israel were completely destroyed would you then be happy? That says something as well.

To believe that “Zionists” control everything makes us in the Liberty movement look even more crazy and extreme than we’re already perceived when we talk of “conspiracy”.

Here’s what I do, where-ever governments conspire to murder their own citizens for political gain, I shine a light of outrage. Yasser Arafat was a pervert pedophile who molested little boys while making SURE that “Palestinian” refugees lived as miserable a life as possible for his political gain.

For all in the Liberty movement, please understand; “ZIONIST PLOT!!!” is losing us far more help than it is gaining us.

A few days ago he sent me a link to this story Palestinians for Boycotting Syrian, Iranian Goods having been astounded by a quote from the organization’s co-founder, Samia Shoman:

Casting aside her life-time enmity towards Israel, Shoman pleaded with the Jewish state to invade Syria and Iran and wipe out their respective Palestinian-hating ruling classes. ‘‘Only such a humanitarian intervention can have the desired effect of halting the barbaric bombardment of the Palestinians who have seen over 3,000 of their number gassed and burnt in Syria and over 25,000 turned into refugees seeking relief in Jordan and Lebanon,’’ she posited.

The story from the “Palestinian News Network” intrigued me so I decided to do some digging and this is what I found:

“It is high time we exposed the crimes against humanity committed by the modern pharoahs [sic] of the Muslim Middle East. Hosni Mubarak and Col. Muammar Gaddafi, who enslaved the long-suffering Egyptian and Libyan peoples with a 30-year dictatorship unprecedented in modern history have now been ousted, but heretical Shi’ite regimes in Syria and Iran are being ruled by merciless despots who are orchestrating the genocide of the Palestinian people ,” stated Stanford law student Omar Shakir.

This “statement” proclaiming Hosni Mubarak and Muammar Gaddafi as criminal “enslavers” could’ve been written by the CIA or Barack Obama’s press agent. Egypt and Libya are disasters because of what Barack Obama and the CIA have done treasonously wielding the American military where there was no vested interest for the American people.

Who made this statement? One “Stanford law student Omar Shakir”.

“Omar Shakir” is an Iraqi who attended Stanford on at least one scholarship and he may have started school around the same general time frame as the U.S. invasion of Iraq. The “Islamic Scholarship Fund” notes;

Born of Iraqi descent and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Omar graduated from Stanford University in 2007 with honors in international relations. A 2007-2008 Fulbright scholar in Syria, he conducted research on contemporary Syrian economic reform and studied Islamic jurisprudence with the Dalalah Institute. Omar also studied abroad at Oxford University and in Morocco and Cairo and spearheaded humanitarian projects in Syria, Jordan, and the West Bank.

That’s the kind of resume that would make an intelligence service drool…or perhaps a resume engineered by an intelligence service.

OK, not everyone is an intelligence asset (and even fewer are intelligence operatives) but this guy is certainly well educated and well-traveled in all of the areas the CIA would find “useful”.

In the “Palestinian News Network” piece he is quoted as being Mr. Kill Gaddafi but the Stanford Daily quotes him as being against the unconstitutional Libyan war.

So which is it?

Further down the PNN piece the guy sounds like he really is getting a paycheck from the District of Corruption (a.k.a “Washington DC”).

Speaking to hundreds of Palestinians and Syrian refugees in front of the Syrian Embassy in the nation’s capital, Shakir excoriated the Syrian and Iranian regimes for plundering the wealth of the more than 520,000 Palestinians in Syria and depriving them of their basic human rights.

The award-winning law student also deplored the thousands of Palestinian civilians massacred by the Syrian Alawite security forces in the streets of Damascus, Yarmouk, Latakia and Aleppo, the unheard of brutality of which was coordinated and financed by the ayatollahs of Iran.

“It is simply incomprehensible that these bloodthirsty governments are committing genocide against our own people,” he declared.

The Stanford Daily lists him as being an anti-drone crusader, as well.

“All of the interviews were really moving to me because all of the interviewees had come such a long way and taken such a risk, braving curfews and sometimes violence to come and…spend one hour with our team telling their story,” said Omar Shakir ’07 J.D. ’13, another a member of the Stanford Law clinic behind the report.

“We hope that this report will add to the chorus of voices among society that are calling for a reevaluation of our target-killing program,” Shakir said.

And he’s acknowledged as having contributed to the report “Living Under Drones” with a similar vein.

In spite of all that, he says this:

“We are confident that the American people is prepared to support our initiative until the vicious dictatorships of Syria and Iran are overthrown and their Palestinian civilian victims in Syria are no longer subject to indiscriminate slaughter,” Shakir affirmed.

“Rulers like Assad and Ahmadinejad should be taken to the gallows, just as Col. Mouammar Gaddafi and Osama Bin Laden were so speedily dispatched. The welfare of the beleaguered Palestinian people must be our number one priority,” he stated.

“And let us not allow the freedom-denying Fatah and Hamas factions brutally oppressing the Palestinians with their deathly prisons and torture chambers to live out their days with impunity,” Shakir emphasized.

What muslim is crowing about the deaths of Gaddafi and bin Laden?! Either the PNN piece has been fabricated or something is going on here.

I wonder if “co-founder Samia Shoman” knows that Mr. Shakir was “co-founder” of a different organization that wasn’t too keen on Israel?

Stanford University’s student senate rejected a bill calling for selective divestment from Israel.

The bill originally would have committed the Senate to urge the university’s Board of Trustees to reconsider endowment investments in eight companies, including Caterpillar, Lockheed Martin and Motorola. Tuesday’s vote centered on a revised version that pared the list to two.

The failure of the SPER bill capped off several weeks of contentious debate on campus. SPER Co-President Omar Shakir, a law student, had alleged the companies listed in the proposal profit from Israel’s control of the West Bank and “commit human rights abuses and violations of international law.”

In fact, every time I pulled something up about “Omar Shakir”, he’s talking about how evil Israel is.

So which is it, is Israel their salvation or their devil?

All of my evidence against Omar Shakir is circumstantial but the guy smells like a CIA rat or at least some kind of government stooge.

If I had the resources, and if it were important enough to me, I’d dig further. But only where my concealed carry firearm permit was valid.

He may not be a puppet for the CIA but militant disaffected blacks seem to like him.

He reminds me of King Barack the Most Merciful, deep down he hates Israel with all his empty self but he’s forced by his puppet masters to continue to enable Israel because of the role she plays in the New World Order.

To be clear about myself, I’m not like the usual Libertarians in the Freedom movement. I’ve been a Born Again Christian since 1996 and I have very traditional values. I’m awake to the New World Order but I still love John Wayne movies.

I recognize that Israel is just as bought as all the other Western nations. I also concede that evil people seem to have helped Israel get where she is today. I understand that and completely discount it because I worship the King of the Jews and the Bible I read says He will return and rule the world from Jerusalem. Therefore, I am a NWO-hating, freedom-loving Zionist…and I think there’s three of us total.

First launching rockets and mortars indiscriminately into Israel’s civilian border enclaves, the Islamists then sent RPG teams into Israel to attack an armored Humm-V patrol, killing 3 Israeli soldiers and taking 2 captive back to Lebanon. A nearby tank attempted to pursue the attackers but was hit by an Improvised Explosive Device, killing all 4 of the crewmen.

Israel responded, but not in a decisive manner, launching artillery and air strikes that did more to galvanize sympathy for Hezbollah rather than weaken the organization. At the same time, an Israeli naval vessel was damaged by a missile provided to the Islamist group from Iran and hundreds of “Katyusha” rockets were fired into Israeli population centers, some landing as far south as the port city of Haifa.

If you take a few moments to look into the histories of the names mentioned, you may come to an astounding conclusion.

Certainly, the peoples who surround Israel (both then and now) despise her. But, surely, there must be differences between them all crossing so much time in human history.

The way the Bible (and the Holy Spirit) gives locations is somewhat problematic but ingenious. If you were to say, “My grandparents came from Germany,” we would all know immediately what you were talking about. But, if you were to say, “My grandparents came from Prussia,” you could be saying that (depending upon the point in history referenced), you could mean anywhere from Poland to Czechoslovakia. —Sorry, “the Czech Republic”. See what I mean? Borders change constantly.

It may be easier to say, “My grandparents were Teutons” which gives your bloodline—your “tribe”—and would tell us the location of where those people existed across the many changing borders and names of various nations.

Not coincidentally, this method would be immediately recognizable to any Middle Eastern people who also trace identity via tribes and bloodlines. Occasionally, there may be some guesswork because a tribe is not so well known to us, but if you have the resources, this is an effective technique.

The first tribal name that jumps out at us is that of “Ishmael”. Ishmael was the child that Sarah facilitated by telling Abraham to sleep with her slave (Genesis 16).

Although this made sense given the customs of the time, given that G-d had promised to make a great nation of the childless Abraham, it was not a good example of “the Father of Faith”. The child that resulted was Ishmael.

But that was not G-d’s Plan. Ishmael was not the son of Abraham and Sarah. He was the son of Abraham and Hagar. G-d would wait past even Sarah’s ability to conceive to prove the miraculous nature of their son Isaac. Soon Ishmael began to compete with Isaac and mock him out of fear for his legitimacy. Sarah would have none of it and pressured Abraham to banish both Hagar and Ishmael—certain death in the arid desert regions they were living in.

But Hagar cried out to the L-rd in her distress and He answered her, promising to make a great nation of Ishmael.

And that He did, for nearly all Arab muslims in the Middle East claim derivation from this son of Abraham.

The tribe of Midian traces its lineage from a child that Abraham had with his second wife, Ketruah (after the death of Sarah). They can be considered a sub-tribe of Ishmael even though the lines are distinct and from different mothers—Ishmael is who they identify with [Fausset’s Bible Dictionary].

“Edom” traces their lineage to Esau, son of Isaac and brother of Jacob. Moab is derived from a union between Lot (the brother of Abraham) and one of his daughters. Having just escaped from Sodom, Lot and his 2 daughters fled to a cave in fear. After several days convinced they were the last living beings on the Earth, Lot’s 2 daughters proceeded to get him intoxicated enough to give them children; Moab and Ammon (Genesis 18 & 19). Obviously, Sodom was not a good place to grow up in.

“Tyre and Sidon” are today, modern Lebanon. That one’s easy because those two, powerful port towns have kept their names through the ages.

“Amalek”—

In (Arabic: عملاق,ʿimlāq‎) is the singular of giant, and the plural is (عمالقة, ʿamāliqah) or (عماليق, ʿamālīq), suggesting the sons of this tribe were known for being unusually tall.²

Not only were many of Israel’s neighbors filled with hatred for her, but they were also lead by genetically-altered super-warriors thanks to intermingling with demons.³

There were and are spiritual forces that constantly seek the demise of Israel.

Just who are “Zebah and Zalmunna”?

Zebah and Zalmunna were two kings who lead hords of Midianites through Israel around 1150 B.C. G-d selected Gideon to deliver them and he did so in miraculous fashion (Judges 7, 8).

Gideon had intended to spare their lives once they were captured, but in interrogating them, he found that they had murdered his brothers during their raids of conquest through Israel and he executed them, himself.

The Midianites were simply doing what the nomadic Middle East peoples had always done; when you’re strong enough, you raid your neighbors, slaughter their men, rape their women, enslave their children and take their valuables.

In the 7^th Century, a man named “Muhammad” codified this behavior and gave it a spiritual writ which would eventually be called “Islam”, which means … “SUBMISSION”.

There was much power in the monotheism of the Jews and Christians but which god to worship? Muhammad’s own background made him intimately familiar with the hundreds of pagan gods of the Meccan Ka’aba. It was said that there were so many you could worship a different god every day of the year.

“Hubal”, also known as “al Ilah”, the moon god was the one he eventually chose. It was a god very well known to Arabians.

21 Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, “Rise up yourself, and fall on us; for as the man, so is his strength.” So Gideon arose and killed Zebah and Zalmunna, and took the crescent ornaments which were on their camels’ necks.

But is al Ilah/Allah simply a construct? Or is this god a real spiritual force?

If you believe the Bible to be the Word of G-d, there can be no doubt for you. While the prophet Daniel was deep in fasting and prayer on behalf of his home, Israel, the L-rd sent an answer to him through an angel.

But the angel didn’t arrive as soon as he was sent. Why?

Daniel 10:12-13
12 Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your G-d, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.”

It would appear that angels and demons are given authority over nations; a fallen angel ruled Persia then (and certainly rules and directs Iran, now) and one of the most well-known archangels—Michael—watches over Israel.

Loyal angels humble themselves before men, refuse to be worshipped and state clearly that we all are in service to the L-rd (Revelation 19:10).

Fallen angels impersonate G-d and seek to steal worship that is rightfully His:

Deuteronomy 32:15-17
15 “But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked —
You are grown fat, thick, and sleek —
Then he forsook G-d who made him,
And scorned the Rock of his Salvation.
16 They made Him jealous with strange gods;
With abominations they provoked Him to anger.
17 They sacrificed to demons who were not G-d,
To gods whom they have not known,
New gods who came lately,
Whom your fathers did not dread.”

And this brings us to the crux of Psalm 83: it is a call upon G-d to vanquish the enemies who surround Israel. Every tribe mentioned here (and in other judgment passages of Scripture) point towards, what are today, nations governed by Islam—Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia and even the once-Christian Lebanon is now ruled or bullied by muslim extremists.

But just as Gideon vanquished the moon-god worshipping Midianites, the Messiah of Israel will arrive (return) and vanquish her enemies when she calls upon Him.

In July of 2006, in the heat of the Israel/Lebanon conflict, a construction worker made an astounding discovery near the town of Fadden More, Ireland; a medieval Christian prayer book (called a “psalter”), preserved in a bog for over a thousand years. Experts hailed it as the European version of the Dead Sea scrolls, and immediately called it a find beyond an ability to value.

The psalter was open to Psalm 83.

Vanunu seems a strange character. When I first heard his story I was disgusted that Vanunu wasn’t treated more severely—what he did was treasonous to the nation of Israel.

But my perspective changed when I read that he had reportedly given his life to Jesus Christ as a result of the issues of nuclear proliferation he has wrestled with. According to several sources, Vanunu’s family has disowned him as a result of his conversion and my prayers go out to him.

He has made statements to the effect of a desire to see a “Nuclear Free” world. I am sorry my friend, you must spend a little more time reading your Bible. As long as humans are born in Original Sin with the desire to empower themselves by trampling on and victimizing their brothers and sisters, there will always be a need for police officers, armies and nuclear weapons.

My question is…“Who’s next?”

However, I really have to laugh ironically over the world reaction to the assassination of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, founder of the Islamist-slaughter organization “Hamas”. The man was a bloodthirsty killer—a serial murderer! There are many like him still alive (like Yassir Arafat).

I still can’t fathom the terrorist mindset that says “If you’re impotent against a government you don’t like, slaughter innocent civilians to get your way.”

The immediate course of action should be for Israel to execute (through her military) every single known “leader” of such groups, arrest anyone who sympathizes (which would be nearly the entire Palestinian population) and close every madrassa they find. That will never happen because Israel suffers from Westerners disease: freedom causes lusts of the flesh to abound and weakens hearts, minds and backbones. —Something that Muslims have very accurately chastised the West for.

But the long-term solution to Middle East bloodshed is beyond either Jew or muslim to comprehend. The fact is that the land southwest of the Euphrates and northeast of the Nile was given to Abraham and his descendents [Genesis 15:18]. It was never part of the Johnny-Come-Lately religion of Islam until muslims saw it was a way to get at Jews.

But what G-d gave Israel has been gutted and destroyed by their lack of faith and rebellion against the Great Prophet He sent in the likes of Moses [Deuteronomy 18:15]. Y’shua of Nazareth fulfilled so many Old Testament prophesies concerning the Messiah that it is statistically impossible for Him to claim them by random chance. Yet he was humiliated and killed, but before that was done, He prophesied that the foundation of Judaism—the Temple in Jerusalem and the Mosaic Law of sacrifices—would be taken away. That is what happened in 70 A.D. when Titus of Rome destroyed the city. To this very day, Judaism can not even be true to itself because no blood is being constantly shed for sin. So muslims teach their children to hate Jews and Jews give more and more of their inheritance away to muslims.

One day Christ will return and stand on the Mount of Olives [Zechariah 14:4] and there will be no doubt then who is in charge.

We can slow down the killing by sending Christian compassion to both sides (good luck getting either side to accept it), but until the Prince of Peace reigns in the Middle East, there will be bloodshed.
