There are a great many Christians who see circumcision as having been dictated by YHWH as a sign of His Covenant with the Jews, and rightly so.

Genesis 17:1-14
1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.”
2 “And I will make My Covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”
3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying:
4 “As for Me, behold, My Covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.”
5 “No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.”
6 “I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.”
7 “And I will establish My Covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting Covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.”
8 “Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”
9 And God said to Abraham: “As for you, you shall keep My Covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.”
10 “This is My Covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised;”
11 “and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the Covenant between Me and you.”
12 “He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised, every male child in your generations, he who is born in your house or bought with money from any foreigner who is not your descendant.”
13 “He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money must be circumcised, and My Covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting Covenant.”
14 “And the uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My Covenant.”
New King James Version [capitalization corrections added]

The Jews corporately denied Yeshua as their Messiah and He cursed the religion His Father gave them that was meant to prepare them for Him (and do nothing more).

Mark 13:1-2
1 Then as He went out of the Temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!”
2 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

This was fulfilled by the Roman invasion of Judea by Titus Vespasian in 70 A.D.

Apparently, there is a forgery in the Annals of Josephus that embellishes how “gold in the Temple, when it caught fire, melted into the cracks of the stones and Roman soldiers tore them apart to get at it.”  As usual, this wasn’t necessary.  An order came directly from Cesar to level the Temple and the city with a few exceptions.

Now as soon as the army had no more people to slay or to plunder, because there remained none to be the objects of their fury, (for they would not have spared any, had there remained any other work to be done,) Caesar gave orders that they should now demolish the entire city and temple, but should leave as many of the towers standing as were of the greatest eminency; that is, Phasaelus, and Hippicus, and Mariamne; and so much of the wall as enclosed the city on the west side.  This wall was spared, in order to afford a camp for such as were to lie in garrison, as were the towers also spared, in order to demonstrate to posterity what kind of city it was, and how well fortified, which the Roman valor had subdued; but for all the rest of the wall, it was so thoroughly laid even with the ground by those that dug it up to the foundation, that there was left nothing to make those that came thither believe it had ever been inhabited. This was the end which Jerusalem came to by the madness of those that were for innovations; a city otherwise of great magnificence, and of mighty fame among all mankind.

The “Wailing Wall”, worshipped by Jews as a remnant of the Temple has been “debunked” as a portion of the Roman Antonia Fortress.

The Jews, themselves, made this horrible promise to Pilate that the execution of this innocent Rabbi was on them and their children!

Matthew 27:15-26
15 Now at the Feast the Governor was accustomed to releasing to the multitude one prisoner whom they wished.
16 And at that time they had a notorious prisoner called Barabbas.
17 Therefore, when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release to you?  Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”
18 For he knew that they had handed Him over because of envy.
19 While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, “Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.”
20 But the chief Priests and elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus.
21 The Governor answered and said to them, “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?”

They said, “Barabbas!”

22 Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?”

They all said to him, “Let Him be crucified!”

23 Then the governor said, “Why, what evil has He done?”

But they cried out all the more, saying, “Let Him be crucified!”

24 When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person.  You see to it.”
25 And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children.”
26 Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.

The foundation of Judaism was their Temple where all their sins were regularly (but incompletely) “atoned for” by the Levitical Priesthood.

Yet the Mosaic law of animal sacrifices was an imperfect model of the One Sacrifice of the Son of God.

Romans 8:1-8
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh
[sinning as our bodies or “flesh” tell us to], but according to the Spirit.
2 For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the Law of sin and death.
3 For what the Law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh
[a man], on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,
4 that the righteous requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh
[thinking they can earn their way into Heaven by strictly obeying the Law of Moses, but that is impossible], but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded
[believing you can earn your way into Heaven by good works] is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

There was a heresy amongst early Christians that said, “You can only be Saved if you have Jesus and you are Jewish” (keeping the Law, requiring circumcision to enter Heaven!) and Paul vehemently attacked these “Judaizers”.

Galatians 3:1-14
1 O foolish Galatians!  Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the Truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?
[By His crucifixion, His Perfect Nature was punished for our sins.] 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law [perfectly obeying the Law of Moses which is impossible], or by the hearing of faith? [Salvation is a free Gift by faith in Christ, Ephesians 2:8-9] 3 Are you so foolish?  Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?
4 Have you suffered so many things in vain — if indeed it was in vain?
5 Therefore He
[Jesus of Nazareth] who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the Law, or by the hearing of faith? — [the Son, as a limited man, had faith in His Father to empower Him] 6 just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” [Abraham was not a “Jew” though he is accounted as the first Jew amongst Israel!] 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. [This is critical: anyone who makes a decision to accept Jesus Christ, regardless of their lineage, ethnicity or religion becomes a child of Abraham and those who don’t accept Jesus are not “Jews”.] 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.”
9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. [There are no “promises” to “Jews” through Abraham. Jesus of Nazareth is his Promise!] 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”
11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”
12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.”
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

In this same letter to the Christians in Galatia, Paul specifically attacks circumcision as “proof” of being Saved.

Galatians 5:1-6
1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.
[If you’re trying to earn your Salvation by being a perfect Jew, you won’t succeed and the easier, more perfect Path will be unavailable to you!] 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole Law. [Once you start down this path of earning your Salvation, you are locked into a way that will only bring you death and damnation!] 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by Law; you have fallen from Grace. [You are damned and condemned!] 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

It is amazing how many Christians have fallen for the charade that is “modern Israel”.  Meanwhile, their own Bibles say that they are blaspheming their Savior when they promote the Jesuit heresy that “Jews” even exist and that they have special “promises” that transcend the fact that 1) they killed their Messiah 2) they still deny Him.

BLASPHEMY.

You may respond, “But the Bible says there will be a third Temple and the Levitical Priesthood will once again have animal sacrifices!”

But does it?

    • Much love to you, George & Constance.

As to my five books, it’s okay to take them in the order that they were published as you will see how I have learned.

After Secret History is the terrible book I had to write, “Eaters of Children”.

  • Larry says:

Johnnie, if Jesus Christ said that The Temple would be destroyed and rebuilt in 3 days, of course implying the time period between His Crucifixion and Resurrection, then surely the 3rd Temple is HIM? No man can enter or come to the Father, except by this 3rd Temple……Jesus Christ. Especially as the veil of the 2nd Temple, allowing only the Levitical Priest to enter, was torn to demonstrate the point as well? You have correctly connected Ezekiel’s description, with that in Revelation in my opinion. A temple built by Judaism, which may or may not go ahead, wouldn’t fit this criterion that I have suggested.
