OBAMA HAS HAD AMERICAN BOOTS ON THE GROUND IN UGANDA SINCE 2010 AGAIN, WITH NOTHING MORE THAN A LETTER TO CONGRESS:

ABC News: As for how long the U.S. troops will be in the region, a spokesman at U.S. Africa Command says he could not provide specifics, “but our forces are prepared to stay as long as necessary to enable regional security forces to carry on independently.

The president in his letter noted that Congress passed “the Lord’s Resistance Army Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act,” signed into law on May 24, 2010, in which, the president said, “the Congress also expressed support for increased, comprehensive U.S. efforts to help mitigate and eliminate the threat posed by the LRA to civilians and regional stability.”

…the president signed that letter in May 2010

IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF BOTH THE CONSTITUTION:

The Congress shall have Power To…declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water… ~ Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 of the United States Constitution

AND THE WAR POWERS ACT.

CO-LOCATED WITH THE DREADED “LORD’S RESISTANCE ARMY” IS CONSIDERABLE OIL RESERVES.

The Economist: Uganda’s Oil: A Bonanza Beckons

A determined push by Western wildcatters and big oil companies from fast-growing Asian economies such as those of China and Malaysia may change the fortunes of several countries in remoter and trickier bits of Africa once largely ignored by foreign investors. One of the most spectacular recent finds has been in Uganda. The reserves of the Albertine rift, which takes in the Ugandan and Congolese shores of Lake Albert (see map), are said to need $10 billion for development. All being well, Uganda will soon become a mid-sized producer, alongside countries such as Mexico. Foreign investment in Uganda may nearly double this year to $3 billion. The country expects to earn $2 billion a year from oil by 2015.

The “viral video” has gotten considerable help from “the Illumined Ones”.

Vigilant Citizen:

KONY 2012 is less of a documentary than it is a highly efficient infomercial that is tailor-made for the Facebook generation, using state-of-the-art marketing techniques to make its point.

…KONY 2012 is all about identifying a bad guy, “making him famous” and have people demand his death by U.S. forces. Fixing the true cause of problems in the third world has never been on the Agenda. But picking out a “bad guy” to justify military action has always been part of it. If in the case of Saddam Hussein, “facts” (that ultimately proved false) were given to justify the invasion of Iraq. A different technique is being used with Kony, one that originates from advertising.

Any marketing specialist will tell you: “Facts don’t sell, emotions do”. The first part of KONY 2012 solely addresses emotions.

More from the Vigilant Citizen: Co-Founder of Invisible Children Arrested for Masturbating in Public

Quoting a story from the U.K. Guardian, V.C. notes that this extreme and odd behavior has, in the past, been indiciative of “mind control” victimization:

One of the co-founders of Invisible Children, the San Diego-based charity which is campaigning for the arrest of Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony, has been hospitalised after police said he was detained for being naked and masturbating in public.

When it comes to African despots and little tin dictators, Western governments are intimately involved…in empowering them.

Joseph Kony aside, the “Lord’s Resistance Army” was a defense against ethnic Acholi marginalization by the Ugandan government and does have a Christian tradition. The situation much resembles that of Bosnia where Bill Clinton came to the aid of the predominantly Islamic states of Bosnia and Herzegovina sending United States military might to crush the historically Christian Serbs. DIVIDE AND CONQUER. United States forces regularly deploy to Bosnia and Kosovo to this day.

Given that U.S. forces have been in Uganda at least since 2010 (count on that being much earlier), it’s clear that the current push is nothing more than a smokescreen for an increased presence that can no-longer be hidden from the general public.
