I was surfing politics via news articles online, as I am wont to do, when I came across this article from the U.K. Times online:

Being interested in the subject matter, I curiously looked it up, browsed through it and went back to what I was doing.
Then, later that day, the very same article was mentioned again in an e-mail alert from my favorite ministry; Koinonia House.
And, being a good student of Dr. Chuck Missler’s work, I know that the rabbis say “coincidence is not a kosher word”. I went back to the article and meditated on it.
Dinosaur experts in Dorset are examining the fossilised [sic] skull of a sea monster so large they say it could have eaten a Tyrannosaurus rex for breakfast.
The fossil head is 2.4m (8ft) long, suggesting that the beast measured up to 16m (54ft) from the tip of its massive, crocodile-like snout to the end of its muscular tail, making it one of the largest specimens ever found.
The skull belongs to a pliosaur, one of a group of giant aquatic reptiles which roamed the warm seas over what is now southern Britain 150 million years ago.

Truly, this creature would’ve been a predatory nightmare for anything that crossed its path.
And it begs an age-old question: Where do dinosaurs fit, in light of Scripture?
Certainly there are no direct mentions of “dinosaurs” in the Bible. The closest we come is a single mention of this creature in Job:
Job 41:1-8
1 “Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook?
Or press down his tongue with a cord?
2 Can you put a rope in his nose
Or pierce his jaw with a hook?
3 Will he make many supplications to you,
Or will he speak to you soft words?
4 Will he make a covenant with you?
Will you take him for a servant forever?
5 Will you play with him as with a bird,
Or will you bind him for your maidens?
6 Will the traders bargain over him?
Will they divide him among the merchants?
7 Can you fill his skin with harpoons,
Or his head with fishing spears?
8 Lay your hand on him;
Remember the battle; you will not do it again!”

Only problem is, even the experts can’t agree on what this creature is. Many well-meaning Christians try to force all dinosaurs into this single animal (or the herbivorous “Behemoth” of Job 40:15) but it seems like a square peg into a round hole.
First and foremost we must understand that the Bible is a love-letter from G-d1 to man…written in blood, over the course of several thousand years. It is written with devices and styles that are Middle Eastern and antiquated. Scripture is not a modern, Western encyclopedia encompassing all of Earth’s history. You could simply say that “dinosaurs” have no bearing on the Gospel Message and are, therefore, not mentioned. And you’d be right!
But we must also remember that all of Creation was made through Jesus Christ for Jesus Christ:
Colossians 1:16
16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Is G-d capable of making a race of creatures whose one purpose is for terrible predation and massive bloodletting?
Certainly, we must answer a resounding “Yes!” No one can know the Mind of G-d because G-d’s Intellect is infinite—

But He is not chaotic. There are clear patterns in His Thought—

And, honestly, my belief is that those predictable Patterns are what He confines Himself to for us out of love and compassion so that we might have some hope of knowing Him.
Nor do I believe that we should have to do cartwheels to overcome “religion” not being borne out by “science”.
Of course, part of the problem is that there’s no such thing as a “scientist” without a bias and we must all be wary of simply accepting “National Geographic” at face value. If there’s one thing that life has taught me, it’s that everyone has an angle. Very, very, very few people are honest regardless of their own perverse wants and desires (and most of them are Christians).
But there are some issues that good Christians fight too hard. For instance, the margin of error of “Carbon 14” dating. Carbon 14 is an isotope that ceases to replenish itself when inside an organism (usually a plant) that dies and leaves a measureable signature. But some experiments suggest that it has a margin of error as great as 1,000 years or more (or even, perhaps, several thousand years).
And Carbon 14 dating assumes that nothing catastrophic happened in Earth history (“all of history crawled on slowly and surely”) when there is copious evidence for a massive world-wide flood as well as many other such events that prove “catastrophism” is a constant throughout Earth development.
Even so, when you are trying to pin down dates in millions of years, a margin of error of thousands is acceptable.
So what happened?
It is my belief that both Christians and Darwiniacs have their dates right (though evolutionists are way off on the rest of their facts). Dinosaurs existed millions of years ago but mankind’s clock only started a few thousand years ago.
Here is my hypothesis with accompanying Biblical evidence:
Dinosaurs did exist well before Adam but may not have been created by G-d directly and, therefore, in His Anguish, were obliterated through some devastating event (like a comet hitting the Earth near the Yucatan Peninsula).
Why is Genesis 1:1 not the beginning of beginnings? A few verses further, we see the evidence:
Genesis 1:5-6
5 G-d called the light “day”, and the darkness He called “night”. And there was evening and there was morning; one day.

Because of this unusual description of “day” and “night” (even more unusual in that it’s translated “evening” first, then “morning), the Hebrew “day” begins at sundown.
But wait a minute. “Evening” and “morning” don’t make “one day”. They make half a day. What’s going on here?
Dr. Missler of Koinonia House has a brilliant insight:
What we have is an interpretation problem. The Hebrew words “erev” (“evening”) and “boker” (“morning”) are actually more accurately translated “chaos” and “order”.
Think about that for a minute. Our concept of “beginning” was, in actuality, a “rebuilding”.
There was an existence before Adam that included these “terrible lizards” and it (they) had to be wiped out. Much later, in 7 days, G-d reordered the Earth.
And there is further proof of this idea (any good doctrine can site more than one passage):

18 For thus says the L-rd, who created the heavens (He is the G-d who formed the Earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited), “I Am the L-rd, and there is none else.”

That word, “waste” or “formless” (Hebrew tohu) is the same word found in Genesis 1:2 describing what the Earth was like when G-d seemingly first began creating.
But Isaiah clearly states that G-d did not create “chaos”. I Corinthians 14:33 (cited earlier) bears this out. It’s not in His Nature to begin any undertaking with disorganized ugliness. In much the same way that Adam and Eve began in perfection, beauty and serenity, so did the Earth. Unfortunately for us, G-d had to allow for “free will” because He is a righteous, loving Father who does not want automatons for children.
So where did dinosaurs come from if not from G-d?!
A hint towards our answer can be found in something called…
“The Cambrian Explosion”.
The Cambrian explosion or Cambrian radiation was the apparently rapid appearance of most major groups of complex animals around 530 million years ago, as evidenced by the fossil record. This was accompanied by a major diversification of other organisms, including animals, phytoplankton, and calcimicrobes. Before about 580 million years ago, most organisms were simple, composed of individual cells occasionally organized into colonies. Over the following 70 or 80 million years the rate of evolution accelerated by an order of magnitude (as defined in terms of the extinction and origination rate of species) and the diversity of life began to resemble today’s.
The Cambrian explosion has generated extensive scientific debate. The seemingly rapid appearance of fossils in the “Primordial Strata” was noted as early as the mid 19th century, and Charles Darwin saw it as one of the main objections that could be made against his theory of evolution by natural selection. ~ Cambrian Explosion, Wikipedia
The Cambrian Explosion is just one of many evidences that points to a designer at the origin of the dinosaurs. All life, in general, seems to have had a Designer at the bottom of it and there are many more reasons to believe that which I don’t have the space to get in to. I will throw out one that makes the writer of the above article wrong in trying to force an “evolutionary” explanation into “the diversity of life [beginning] to resemble today’s”:
The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics states very clearly that there is a natural tendency throughout the universe for all processes to go from ordered to chaotic. It is ludicrous to imagine “simple” life forms “evolving” into the amazing complexity of homo sapiens.
But is the intelligence behind the race of dinosaurs the same Intelligence that created man and all our modern life forms?
Were original life forms laid out by a more Nobel Intelligence, and then manipulated and altered—“evolved”—by a lesser intelligence into something that the Nobel Intelligence found aberrant and needed to be destroyed?
Believe it or not, there is a Biblical precedent for such an hypothesis:
Genesis 6:1-5
1 Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them,
2 that the sons of G-d saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.
3 Then the L-rd said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”
4 The Nephilim were on the Earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of G-d came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
5 Then the L-rd saw that the wickedness of man was great on the Earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

“Sons of G-d” is a well known Hebrew euphemism (Job 1:6, 2:1) for angels.
So what is that about? It would appear that some angels delved into genetic experimentation for the arrogant exhilaration of pseudo-creation and of rebelling against G-d by thwarting His Will in creating a mutated race of beings to be feared and even worshipped. The ultimate goal of this plot seems to have been to poison the bloodline through which the Messiah would be born.
Remember, the Bible’s focus is the redemption granted man through the Blood of Jesus Christ and all subjects relate to it.
Acts 4:10-12
10 “…let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom G-d raised from the dead — by this Name this man [who previous to being healed by Peter and John could not walk] stands here before you in good health.
11 He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER Stone.
12 And there is Salvation in no one else; for there is no other Name under Heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

In fact, you might even say that all of physical history (all physical existence) revolves around an unprecedented event that occurred in 32 A.D.
The Shroud of Turin is a burial cloth reputed to have the Image of Jesus Christ somehow burned into it. To this day the authenticity of the Shroud remains a topic of controversy but physicist Dr. Isabel Piczek says that there is a three-dimensional quality to the image that is not replicable by technology even today. In fact, Piczek states that the “interface” which caused the image was an “event horizon” similar to the warping of reality that takes place at the center of a Black Hole…

But what is going on in Genesis Chapter 6?
I’m not a fan of the King James Version because it clouds the average person’s understanding unnecessarily. But, sometimes, it can be utilized for a more clear insight in some passages. One such example is in this one:
Genesis 6:8-9
8 But Noah found grace in the Eyes of the L-rd.
9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with G-d.

Was Noah a righteous man amongst his peers (as some versions translate the original Hebrew)? —Or was he a righteous man who also had a family lineage that was not affected by demonic tampering?
As radical as this idea is, if you have your mind open to it, it is all throughout Scripture:
The half-brother of Jesus put it all together in his epistle:
Jude 6-7
6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the Great Day,
7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of Eternal Fire.

Most scholars agree that a “cubit” was measured from the average man’s elbow to the tip of his middle finger which was usually about 18 inches. Goliath was over 9 feet, 9 inches tall!

In some southwestern tribes, a handprint was the only way to show your legal legitimacy.

They are creatures we will see again.
In the prophetic Book of Daniel we have a dream given to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, about 4 powerful kingdoms of mankind (the last of which will be seen again in the End Times) viewed as a great statue of a man composed of 4 different metals. Well, 4 metals and, something else…

It is a central tenant of both Christianity and Judaism that only G-d has the Power to create life.

But, as the debate of cloning has proven, once that life is created, both mankind and angelic beings can and have tinkered with the Divine genetic Code. Even though His Law states clearly what He thinks of such abominations:

12 “‘And a man who lieth with his daughter-in-law — both of them are certainly put to death; confusion they have made; their blood [is] on them.
13 And a man who lieth with a male as one lieth with a woman; abomination both of them have done; they are certainly put to death; their blood [is] on them.
14 And a man who taketh the woman and her mother — it [is] wickedness; with fire they burn him and them, and there is no wickedness in your midst.
15 And a man who giveth his lying with a beast is certainly put to death, and the beast ye do slay.

Extra-Biblical texts can sometimes be a great source of information…if you are already well grounded in the Gospel from YEARS of studying the basics.
I was once told that part of the way Secret Service agents are trained to spot currency forgeries is to spend excessive amounts of time studying real bills. Only then are they equipped to spot fakes.
That makes sense to me and absolutely applies to Apocryphal Books that share topics with Scripture.
There are two such works that have material that relates to this subject. One is the “book of Enoch” and the other is the “book of Jasher”. What is given compliments existing Biblical passages without contradicting them (a good sign of reliability) and gives a little more detail for us:
Jasher 4:17-19
17 And every man made unto himself a god, and they robbed and plundered every man his neighbor as well as his relative, and they corrupted the Earth, and the Earth was filled with violence.
18 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the Earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the L-rd; and G-d saw the whole Earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals.
19 And the L-rd said, I will blot out man that I created from the face of the Earth, yea from man to the birds of the air, together with cattle and beasts that are in the field for I repent that I made them.
It would appear that both fallen angels and men went beyond mere human exploitation and also played with the animal kingdom. And it is this “mixing of kinds”—the tampering with genetic codes—that seems to truly disturb the L-rd.
When I was younger, I used to think that the Egyptian and Greek mythology that simply combined animal parts with animals and men to make “spooky” creatures was nothing more than lack of imagination when fabricating stories. I mean, couldn’t those guys come up with some good science-fiction-looking monsters?
But was there less fabricating than I, at first, believed?

Every time new technology hits the scene, it always seems as if man just wasn’t ready for it. Time and time again advanced knowledge is exploited for much more harm and perversion than good.
And some of that knowledge is actually quite out of place historically. So much so that it raises serious questions as to how it came into man’s possession.
The Great Pyramid at Giza is one such example.
- Known as the 7th Wonder of the World, for 4,300 years the Pyramid was the tallest man-made object on Earth until the French built the Eiffel Tower in 1889.
- It is built entirely of limestone, and is considered an architectural masterpiece.
- It contains around 1,300,000 blocks ranging in weight from 2.5 tons to over FIFTY tons and is built on a square base with sides measuring about 755 ft., covering 13 acres.
- Its four sides face the four cardinal points precisely and it has an angle of 51 degrees 51 minutes.
- The original height of the Pyramid was 488 ft.

The unsolved problem of how the 2,300,000 very heavy blocks were transported to the building site of the pyramid is even more mystifying. How were the blocks taken to the nearly 500-foot height of the pyramids’ summit? A Danish civil engineer, P. Garde-Hanson, has calculated that a ramp built all the way to the top of the pyramid would require 17.5 million cubic meters of material, this representing more than seven times the amount of material used for the pyramid itself, and a work force of 240,000 to build it in the time allotted by Cheops’ reign.
…perhaps the most extraordinary problem [is] that of the fashioning and placement of the highly polished limestone casing stones that covered the entire pyramid. The finished pyramid contained approximately 115,000 of these stones, each weighing ten tons or more. These stones were dressed on all six of their sides, not just the side exposed to the visible surface, to tolerances of .01 inch. They are set together so closely that a thin razor blade cannot be inserted between the stones. Egyptologist Petrie expressed his astonishment of this feat by writing, “Merely to place such stones in exact contact would be careful work, but to do so with cement in the joint seems almost impossible; it is to be compared to the finest opticians’ work on the scale of acres.” Herodotus, visiting in the fifth century BC, reported that inscriptions of strange characters were to be found on the pyramid’s casing stones. In AD 1179 the Arab historian Abd el Latif recorded that these inscriptions were so numerous that they could have filled “more than ten thousand written pages.” William of Baldensal, a European visitor of the early fourteenth century, tells how the stones were covered with strange symbols arranged in careful rows. Sadly, in 1356, following an earthquake that leveled Cairo, the Arabs robbed the pyramid of its beautiful casing of stones to rebuild mosques and fortresses in the city. Hmm…the strange language that could’ve given us insight into the agency that created Cheops’ pyramid was eradicated by muslims scavenging for materials to build mosques. The “crime scene” was wiped clean. Were spiritual forces at work (perhaps one demonic force covering for another)?
Where did this knowledge come from?

Nazi Germany lead the world in the vast majority of top technologies in the 1930s and 40s. It is a miracle of Divine Intervention that Adolph Hitler was too diseased in his thought processes to make the best possible use of them all.
The Third Reich lead the world in so many technologies that I don’t have time to look them all up. Instead, here are a few off the top of my novice historian head:
- First “assault weapon”.
- First helicopter.
- First variable geometry winged aircraft.
- First rocket-driven aircraft.
- First turbojet aircraft (it took the United States TWO GENERATIONS of jet aircraft to catch up, and that’s with reverse engineering).
- First guided ballistic missiles.
- First to perfect submarine warfare.
- First to perfect rapid, combined-arms operations (the German “Blitzkrieg” was as terrible as it was without precedent).
- First to perfect the use of airborne troops in the assault.
- Best and most feared machine gun (MG42) on the battlefield.
- Best and most feared multipurpose field gun (the dreaded “88” used for fire support, field artillery and anti-aircraft and devastating in any role).
- Best and most feared armor on the battlefield (the most frightening prospect in the world for any American tank crewman was a one-on-one between a factory U.S. M4 Sherman and a factory German Tiger I or II).
- The best and most feared battleships in the Atlantic ocean.
Where did this technological advantage come from?
By now, few people are unfamiliar with the connection between Hitler and occult paganism.
Was this a window for him and other Nazis to communicate with demonic forces?
THE NASA CONNECTION
At the close of WWII, both the United States and the Soviet Union raced to Berlin to grab as much of this technology and as many of these scientists as possible. The resulting “treasure trove” of information for the U.S. became the foundation of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
But what else infused into NASA?
More than Wernher Von Braun, Jack Parsons is known as the “father of American rocketry”. He founded the famous and secretive “Jet Propulsion Laboratory” (wryly called “Jack Parsons’ Laboratory”) and is credited with discovering the exact combining of chemical fuels that saved the space program. A process wrought with so many unpredictable variables as to be described by NASA expert (and critic) Richard C. Hoagland as “only slightly more predictable than ‘alchemy’”.
How did he do it? Jack Parsons was an occultist. I mean serious. He was a passionate (no pun intended given Parsons’ depraved, perhaps satanic sex addiction) follower of both Aleister Crowley and L. Ron Hubbard.

Crowley is, perhaps, the “father” of contemporary paganism and such a central figure in the occult that many news sources of his time called him “the wickedest man in the world”.
Crowley claimed to have been in overt communication with a non-human entity he called “Lam”. It is a creature that looks a lot like something else now completely saturating popular culture:
Who hasn’t heard the many stories of aliens abducting people and conducting weird medical “experiments” on them, seemingly for the stealing and manipulation of living tissues? Are they really just demons up to their same old tricks?
But why now?
Did the Great Flood destroy all of the Rephaim? Or did these “shades” re-inhabit other altered bodies afterward?
Genesis 6:4
4 The Nephilim were on the Earth in those days, and also afterward…

You don’t have to go far before you run into these creatures again; when Moses and Joshua try to bring the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt and back into the Promised Land where G-d intended them to be.
But there was something sinister already living there (as if in some spiritual strategic blocking move to thwart G-d’s Will):
Numbers 13:32-33
32 So they [Israelite scouts sent to bring intelligence to Moses] gave out to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone, in spying it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great size.
33 There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

Did you know that fear of the Anakim, the Nephilim and the Rephaim was the sole reason why the Israelites were cursed to wander the desert for 40 years until the unbelieving generation died out (save Joshua and Caleb)?
Does this relate to why such genetic tampering is more prevalent now than ever (conducted both by men and fallen angels)?
Are evil forces trying to impede Yeshua (Hebrew for “Jesus”) from taking possession of the Earth the way they tried to stop Yehoshua (Hebrew for “Joshua”) from taking possession of the Promised Land.

- Throughout my walk as a Christian I have been frequently disturbed by how others, who call themselves “Christian” have so little respect for the Name of G-d. In the Time of Jesus Christ, Jews had such fear and reverence for the Name of G-d that they dared not speak it, instead calling Him only, “Ha Shem”, “The Name”. In fact, one of the most common Names of G-d, “YHWH” (known as “the Tetragrammaton”) is actually ineffable. There is no way to easily speak these 4 Hebrew consonants. Later, vowels were added for convenience but the names “Jehovah” and “Yahweh” are found nowhere in the Bible.
How often have you heard a Christian say the words “Oh my God!”? It is a vain (meaningless) usage of His Name and qualifies as blasphemy.
So, in an effort to draw the attention of Christians to this issue, I have taken the tradition of Orthodox Judaism which hyphenates the Name of G-d out of respect for that Name.
Interestingly enough, a scrap of a copy of the Gospel of Matthew (known as “The Magdalene Papyrus”) that has been astoundingly dated to between 73 and 74 A.D. writes the Name of Jesus as “J-s”.
However, I have chosen to not follow suit because of what I see as one of the most miraculous aspects of the Gospel: that G-d emptied Himself into the form of a man to put a Face and a Name to Who He is to us so that is a Name we should know with loving familiarity…
