“Iconoclasm” is taking a common understanding and inverting it to shock or draw attention to a point you are trying to make.
Iconoclasm is most powerful in media. It can sometimes be poignant, or it can be assed up by clumsy idiots.
Chief amongst such idiots is George Pucas.
